On 01/19/2010, I signed up for a kit knowing the charge would be $1.95. I checked my account on 01/20/2010 and there was a charge for $57.61, which happens to be the same charge I've seen from all the other complaints. I called 866-360-7227 and spoke with the rep and she said she would send me a refund request form via email (which didn't take any time at all). I now have to send in this form to have this change I didn't authorize removed from my account. www.2009cs.com. Conformation #4916697

I see that there is a previous complaint about this web site. My complaint is very similar to the previous one. I was looking into grants to help with my education. Needless to say, I was looking for help to improve my income, not to decrease it. I went online looking for government grants and came across this site. I was to receive a free grant kit. I had to pay the shipping and handling of $1.95. THIS WAS TO RECEIVE A FREE GRANT KIT!!! I get my bank statement and it has a charge of $1.95 from grant profit geek. Ok, that must be the shipping and handling charge for the free grant kit that I have yet to receive. I continue down and then there is another charge of $57.61 from the same place. I call the number and say that I demand they take this charge off of my bank account. I stated that I was extremely angry about this and the woman replied that I shouldn’t be angry with her as she wasn’t the person who charged me and then went on to tell me that they were willing to only give me a partial refund of $41.00 and otherwise she could not help me. I did not take the $41.00 as they owe me $57.61 plus $1.95 = $59.66. I am contacting the BBB online after I complete this complaint.
