After being solicited a number of times, I thought I would take a chance and spend the $2.95 for the free disk. The $2.95 was for shipping. 5 days later they charged my account an additional $58.61 which was unauthorized by me. The disk has a menu system but offers no information when selecting any menu item, only a message to logon online but gioves no address to log onto. This is a scam that others have fallen prey to.

Maybe the FBI can help?

On December 26, 2008 I ordered the software for $ 2.95.On January 5th, 2009, $68.13, was deducted from my checking account.On January 12th, 2009, $13.42 was also deducted from my checking account by one of this company's partners.These charges were unknown to me until i got a letter from my bank stating i've had two insufficient charges of $30.00 each. On February 3, 2009 i called 1-866-467-5313 and was told to send an email to a supervisor.When i sent the email to the address i was told to send it it was returned.THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM AND IT AND ITS EMPLOYEES NEED TO BE SUED.

I ordered a CD for $2.95 from GRG. I got the CD, was charged $2.95 and seven days later was againg charged for $58.61
without any kind of notice. At the time of the purchace there were nothing saying that you had a time period to cancel, and if not you were going to be charged for another amount. I feel "violated" I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!! This kind of scam has to stop!!! For me I ordered this because my daughter is going to college and and thought that this might help get some $$$$$ for tuition and not been riped out of my money

$2.95 ended up $49.5o monthly for a service I did not sign up for. I too ordered the Grant CD. When contacted for services, I declined but are billed on a monthy basis.

I fell for this too...mortified. This Grant Resource Guide is a rip off. The $2.95 CD is now up to $60.00 plus...they just keep taking money from my account. Amazingly, when you call the service number to cancel "per the agreement" the phone is perpetually busy or rings for hours with no answer. Will have to fight the charges via my bank I guess. (insert swear words here!)
