BEWARE!!!
Grant Treasury withdrew $148.95 from my account without my authorization. I have never even heard of this company. I did not subscribe to any of its services, nor have I had any contact with any of its personnel prior to today, when I put in a call to inquiry about this transaction. I certainly had no knowledge of nor did I authorize them to withdraw $148.95 from my account.
After speaking with a so-called Supervisor (Kristin) this afternoon, I was told that refunds are not commonly issued, but because I was nice, I would be issued a refund. However, she indicated that it would take up to 15 days before it was issued. This is totally unacceptable!! What kind of 'business' are they running? Even after repeatedly insisting that I DID NOT inquire about obtaining any grant funding, the only explanation she could give me was that I had to have initiated a request from their website. She told me that I would have received an email confirming my request, but I received no such notice. After informing her of that, she told me that the email may have gone to my 'junk mail' folder. I checked my other folders and still nothing. During our conversation, she told me that another email was sent confirming the cancellation, but I didn't receive that one either (nothing in my inbox or junk folder). This is absolutely crazy!!! I will be initiating a separate complaint with the BBB. My goal is to prompt some sort of investigation into this company and its unscrupulous dealings.
