Unauthorized billing
I innocently made a decision to risk $3.95 to get info on federal gov't. grants. Two weeks later, I have still NOT received the CD. However, the company has managed to place an UNAUTHORIZED charge of $74.95 which I have no idea what that is for. I checked my account today and now they have charged my account an additional $29.95 for some kind of newspaper. The only authorized charge here was the $3.95. On reading the small print, it never said that they would be rip-offs and start billing me for all these additional charges. They should be prosecuted! My husband is out of work and I receive SS disability so a loss like this is devastating to our bank account. This outfit should be charged for internet fraud and credit card theft! I've been trying for days to contact them by phone. Day or night, it doesn't matter...it rings constantly or else it's ringing busy. They never pick up. I'm trying to deal with this through my bank, but there are no guarantees.

Unauthorized charges
Went to a trusted site then clicked on this link to see what they had decided to go with them and see how it works.. Not only did they not send the cd and take the postage for it but they also took about $75 Dollars from my account major rib off tried to call them and they say do to the high volume of callers for the free cd.. ( Which actually means do to all the people getting ripped off) you have to leave a message they are not returning phone calls or anything... So do not use this site...

Unauthorized billing
Ordered free cd postage $3.95, 11 days later noticed $74.95 charge to my bank card. Never got any cd! This charge was never authorized nor was this stated anywhere on the web site. There has got to be a way to stop these (people?) from ripping off hard working honest people. Isn't there some kind of law against this? I would like to see a class action suit with all there victims involved. I have disputed these charges with my bank and might get my money back but had to cancel my bank card to stop any further charges.
I am a skip tracer and have begun a search on the llc to find the names for all the company partners. As this is public data if you know where to look. Tried the 888-662-8762, over the weekend answering machine, during the week busy(probably from the number of complaint calls) if anyone really answers this at all! I got there web address from a site claiming to be a consumer group that verified there legitimacy. It was probably bogus to. Watch out for any company claiming they have a free cd on gov grants.

I was charged $74.95 for Grant Writing Express membership #1020185 in spite of the fact that I canceled it because I did not receive the promised 'free Grant Info CD' within the promised seven days.
Cancellation was hard to do because Grant Writing Express refused to answer their so-called customer service cancellation phone number in time for people to cancel! Instead of getting a live person, callers got a message asking them to leave their name and phone number so that a representative could get back to them. Of course, I left requested info, but never heard from them.
I finally went to their advertised website to cancel and got an automated 'no-reply' email stating membership had been canceled. I replied anyway with a demand for a refund of $74.95, but have not gotten it or a reply stating why.
I feel that this company has preyed upon me and other people by FALSELY advertising grant info which was NOT delivered within said timeframe, and providing a false 'customer service' phone number to cancel membership.
Does anyone know what steps I should take against this company in order to get my money back and to stop them from ripping off others?
