Grantworks was in charge of processing the paperwork for my mother's application to receive a housing grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. My mother's claim was lost in the shuffle, and my mother was never notified. My mother had to finally call to see what the status was, she was then told that her claim had been denied and sent back to the Texas Dept of Housing. I had to call to see why it was denied, they did not have an answer. They could not tell me why because the claim was never completed. They had a change of employees and the file was totally ignored. After we got this information it was too late to do anything. Grantworks blames the denial on Bee County Title, and Bee County Title denies this information. The City of Wallis, mayor Tony Salazar say that it's nothing they can do. I WANT JUSTICE. My mother's home is in desparate need of repair, but because of the negligence on behalf of GrantWorks, the deadline has passed.
