Scam charges
Just because a company has a 'policy' that says 'our sales people inform you of this, that and the other thing' doesn't mean they actually do. This is the worst form of lie; it's intended to be a lie and more lies are used to confuse the issue. The legal process is then used as a barrier to justice; the whole thing turns in to a 'I said, you said' argument.
The charges are relatively small so no one will get a lawyer to fight it. This means that petty thievery is, by default, acceptable and even encouraged. The only way this company will get put in to the justice system is if a class action suite is filed by someone or the government.
I've disputed the charges through my bank. We'll see where that goes. If I end up calling the support numbers I'll do my best to remember that the representative on the phone is just doing their job and they are not the ones who lied to me. Most often managers are to blame.
It's clear this company is a scam. GrantMaster, go ahead and attach your standard rebuttal form. No one is fooled by that crap. Unfortunately your lies will continue to fool people who are unaware of it.

Complete Fraud
I have no idea what this company does or anything...I NEVER even ordered their free CD or whatever. I was charged around $75 in charges on my credit card plus a shipping and handling charge for something I neither ordered nor received. I am extremely careful with my credit card and haven't purchased ANYTHING with it on the internet in over 3 months. I have no clue how this company even got my credit card information. When I called to have the charges removed they had no record of my name, address, or phone number...only my credit card info...how convenient. SCAM SCAM SCAM RIPOFF ridiculously lazy people STEALING from others. Go and get a real job like everyone else. I was promised to have all charges removed and I hope for their sake it actually happens. I would love nothing more than to assist in shutting these people down...Good luck to everyone and careful with your numbers. Peace.

Fraudulent business practices
I ordered a cd for applying for a grant the total was to be $2.29 which I paid. A few days later while looking at my bank account I found a charge from them for $39.95. No where in their advertising did they state I would be charged this or any other amount other than the $2.29. They messed up my account and I am complaining.

Trial offer
OK so I'm kinda confused. i just ordered your cs for 3 bucks and i was searching for your site online to give the exact URL to my friend and when i googled "grantmaster" i saw like several sites pop up referring to your company as a scam. Now i was reading a compliant a lady wrote about being charges a monthly fee because she signed up for a log-in. she mentioned she has not received her cd. but what confuses me that we have seven days to cancel the service if we feel its not right for us but how can we know its not right for us if we don't get the cd for over 10 days??? Also I signed up for a log-in and it directed me saying I'm upgraded to grant resource center. So i need to know when and how much I'm going to be charged so i can stop it. Because i feel i should have seven days to use the cd and then you guys can charge me. So please contact me. Oh and another thing. I have worked in customer relations for several years now and as being professional about responding to people's complains, you are very rude and not professional there are ways to explain to the customer the situation without looking like your a sarcastic fucker. So please, when you respond to this. be polite because its play a major role in referring this company to my friends and family. Thats all.

Another misleading internet site
I also have fallen victim to the "free" grant master cd. I found their number and spoke to a HUMAN! I canceled all accounts, yes there are more than one with this company. They gave me cancellation codes. Guess we will see what happens to my money now. Their phone number as of 6-19-08 is 800-546-2919. Good luck to all others with this site!

Unauthorized charges
Was charged 2.29 to try out cd and then without knowing they were charging my account without my permission of $39.95, witch is money i don't have to spend on such things as this. It would be nice for a refund of what money they took from me.
