GrantMaster, et al - Disclaimer is Bunk
Their disclaimer is bunk
While reading thru the complaints about GrantMaster (also under Grant Master with a space) I noticed unfortunately, people are still being ripped off by these people. What I also noticed was many responses made by Ryan R (apparently with Raven Media) and he prints in his response their privacy policy and disclaimer. His says it is stated plainly that by accepting this, you'll also be getting "free" trial periods for other services. Well, that may be so but if these companies are so above board and honest about their dealings, why is it then that every single charge (6 all together) made to my bank account was done with a different company name? I would assume a reputable company would use their real name for each and every charge. So far I've found these companies:
RewardMeMore
NetworkAgenda
BSM/SBA Express
BSM Grant Search
Grant Search Assistant
GrantMasterCD
There are probably more. No matter how Ryan R tries to explain it away, this group is a bunch of theives and should be driven out of business!!!

Fraud & Incorrect Info
PLEASE READ THIS! A few months ago, I found this websit and starting posting warning people away from GrantMaster and other associated companies. When I filled in the original information to post a complaint, I had accidentally put my personal address and phone number instead of putting the address & phone number for GrantMaster.

If you dial a 559 area code, this is not GrantMaster, it is me personally. The companies that have ripped me off (all associated: Grant Master - GSA - SBA EXPRESS - Grant Writer Pro - Networkagenda, all handled by Raven Media) are located in both Idaho and Las Vegas, NV. The only phone number I was able to find for GrantMaster is 866-396-5718. I've tried, but it's useless to try to get any info from these people.

I must recommend that if you did supply a debit card number to any of these companies, contact your bank immediately and tell them to cancel your debit card. They'll send you a new one and there's no problem. You're only out of a card for a week or so, which when you think these companies are probably tagging consumers at $100+ a pop, that's a small price to pay. Use checks! They still work. If you used a credit card, contact the company and tell them you lost your card and they'll also send you a new one with a new number.

So please, for future reference, GrantMaster is not located in Exeter, California...I am.

Continued charges!
After receiving a charge from"Check Bill Kirkland Wa" I also was advised by my bank to cancel my card. While this was only a charge for $1.07, I had to wonder how many other people were getting hit? So I googled the name and here I am! I believe it has to do with grantmaster, a company that allows you access to look up government grants and you can cancel within 7 days. I did. Now they are still charging me and apparently many others.

I found grantmaster through a website, recommending the grantmasters, called "scammer-alert.com/govt-grants.html" run by Frank Mathews. I have notified him & asked if he is an affiliate.

Unauthorized charges!
Ignorantly, I authorized a $1.97 charge for the Grant Master CD for the free 7 day trial. I received the CD, accessed the site maybe 2 times but stupidly forgot to cancel. After the first from Grant Search Assistant for $1.97 charge, there was then a $39.95 charge to my debit card from the same company on 12/12/07, then another from BSM/SBA Express for 7.95 on 12/21/07, then another from Network Agenda on 12/28/07 for $9.95, then another on 12/31/07 from Reward Me More for $33.87, and just today (1/11/08) yet another $39.95 charge from Grant Search Asst. I only authorized the one charge for the CD and have to accept the 2nd charge due to not canceling but the web site had been of no real use not to mention the charge was a monthly one.

This is a scam of mega proportions. As far as Network Agenda and Reward Me More (rewards for shopping on-line at their suggested companies, I DO NOT SHOP ONLINE) are concerned, if ever I may have fallen upon their website, there is no possible way I would have given any banking or personal information to them as do not offer any services I may be interested in. I have submitted a complaint to the Department of Justice for Internet fraud. All the companies I have listed above are all associated and have circulated my account information amongst themselves and no telling who or when another charge may occur. I have attempted to contact these companies through their toll-free numbers, unable to ever speak to a person as well as sending numerous e-mails to their customer service e-mail to no avail. My bank advised me to do so prior to having to change all my accounting information. I have given these companies more than ample time to contact me or credit my accounts and to date nothing has occurred.

I am submitting a claim through my bank to attempt to recuperate these charges, not to mention the additional charges made to me in overdraft fees because of these charges.
