Unauthorized charges
Hey, fellow victims of our favorite grant information site!!! I just stopped by to see if you guys wanna jump on the bandwagon, and get your money back like I did!!! They did the same thing to me that all of you have complained about. I couldn't get a person at the phone number, or log onto their site either, so when I was told ( after finally getting a person at the number which had always sounded like a fax line), to use the web address ([email protected]) to e-mail my request for a refund, I did just that.

I have since responded to their responses I don't know how many time, and finally, after they told me about the agreement, and that I HAD TO try their product for another 88 days, I INSISTED that they were committing internet fraud, and that they weren't going to get away with it. I also told them about all the complaints at the web address they gave us, and told them also that we would all get together and call the U.S. Attorney General, and file a class action lawsuit. One guy got cocky and nasty when I told him they were committing internet fraud, but I told him he might want to look for employment elsewhere. They've played games with my money, and I got to the point where I had had it, so I told them that if they didn't give it back, I would tell all of the other victims to ask for half of their money back, like they offered me as a 'settlement', if I couldn't wait the 88 days.

Well, this may be kinda long, but I want you to understand, NEVER let someone get away with taking money from your account wrongfully, and don't just accept that they won't return it. They know they were truly wrong, and finally refunded the full $94.89 they took from me. I told them they don't need it more than I did, so there it is -- I also have a fax no -- they demanded a statement from me stating that I wouldn't ask my bank for the same refund. They do not want to be investigated. I'll send the fax no. later. I have it in my e-mails from them. Good luck, and God bless. DON'T GIVE UP!!!

unauthorized billing
I ordered a 1.99 cd, company billed me $94.89 for a membership. I talked to reps and supervisors, none willing to accept my cancellation/refund. They won't give me a phone number for billing dept. Said I have to wait 88 days to get a refund, already billed me for 1 month usage. Total scam, uncooperative. I will never buy or order anything online again, sad!!!

unwilling to do refund, fraud
went to local Abc tv station. looked up dtv converter box. sent to their website. information was like if ordering the government issued coupons. at end asked for credit card number.. gave reluctantly, but said: probably the way they do it. charged about $2. month later, saw a deduction of $94 and about 89cents. called number listed in charge. told that everything was alright. they " canceled everything" and a full refund was suppose to be issued. waited weeks, nothing. called, was given the run around. in short that's it.

unauthorized removal of money from my account
I sent online for their information cd for a cost of 2.99 which I paid by debit card. They called and asked if I would like a 21 day free trial for savings on groceries and gas and would be able to cancel at no charge within the 21 days. In checking my bank account just a few days later I found that they had withdrawn $94.29 from my bank account. I called them and finally talked to a rep. who told me to go online at support@grantmemberservices where I could request a refund. Now all I am finding under that website are complaint boards against them. Is there any way to get my money back?

took more money than agreeded
I got a CD in the mail, I was intersted and agreeded to $1.99 to come out of my checking account.
They took $94.84. They said I am sorry you do not know how to read, but you agreeded to this amount.
They would not refund the money.

they won't accept my cancellation
I ordered the product in belief that it was at a cost of only $1.99 for shipment. I later read a letter on the internet that this is not the case. There is a membership fee that is $94.00+. To make things worse, they tell me I MUST try the product for 88 days before I may quit. I did not read this in there information in the order process. They tell me I did. All I was looking for was information on where to look up Goverment grants. I wasn't looking to get sucked into a scam.

billing fraud
I tried to cancel this service right after I purchased it at their support sevices dept. and they billed my card for 2 programs. I called them and was told I had hit a wrong button and refreshed the page but not true. They started billing me even after I tried to cx the service.
