On 10/30/09 I had a school research to do about college grants and scholarships. I was lead to a news article by CNN News about this supposedly legitimate source that they endorse called Grants360. So, from the cnn website I was lead to the website of grants360.com. Their homepage seemed legitimate enough since they have on its front page "As seen on CNN News, ABC News, NBC News etc... From their homepage it directed me to their registry page which I did, then it tells me that to access information that a fee of $1.95 is required, because I needed a resource and its a small enough amount I registered and paid. It soon sent me an email confirmation with a log in and password to use to access info. That was 10/30/09. On 11/3/09 when I did my online banking I noticed there was a charge of $57.61 out of my debit card and its by GrantWeb System. I called the 800 number and asked them about the charge, they said that it was for a membership fee. I told them I never signed up for a membership and I did not want it and I wanted to be refunded for the $57.61. The rep told me he will email me the refund form, which he did. I filled up the form and sent it the same day. That was 11/5. I checked my account again by 11/12 and still no refund. I called again and followed up and another rep named Zelle told me that its still being processed but will send in an expedited request which will take 3-5 business days. It is now 11/30/09 and still no refund to my account. I called to follow up and this time I am upset. The rep again told me that my refund is still in the process and will take another 3-5 business days and she said she will send another expedited request. At this time, I refused to accept that excuse so I asked to speak with a Manager, and she tried to sway me against that, when I insisted the rep said there is no manager available and I told her I find that ridiculous, and with a higher tone of voice this time the rep just kept repeating herself about sending the expedited request again, and I will just have to wait for the 3-5 business days again. I told her that I will not accept that and I wish to speak with a manager. She said she will get a manager on the line and placed me on hold. At 11:42 pm I was on hold for over 17 minutes, at 11:55pm I was on hold for already over 30 minutes. At 12:13am of December 1, 2009 already I had been on hold for over 48 minutes, and I kept on hanging until 12:26am which I was then at over an hour on hold. I just hung up right now as I was finishing this complaint. I also established while speaking on each time with the representatives that their call center is somewhere in the Philippines. So, this company's call center or customer service is not even in the United States. I am completely appauled and disgusted by this kind of business tactics and bad business etiquette. It is truly my hope that something will be done to correct this situation and penalize these companies that does this to honest, innocent hardworking American citizens, like me. It is my hope that your office will do all its diligence to put these companies to rest and fine them to the legal laws extent. Thank you very much for your help. I look forward to hearing back from your office with a news that this company has been stopped from its unethical business conducts.

Told me I would receive $41.61 partial refund on Sept. 25th, it is now Nov. 2nd and have not received a dime. Even gave me a cancellation confirmation #. I would like to know why this company is still in business. I wish I would have looked up the complaints before I enrolled, they caused big fights in my household. I will never trust anything on the internet again, especially if they do not provide a phone number.

This company is a complete rip off. You pay your $1.95 and receive nothing except another charge of $57.61 for again nothing. How much longer will the internet allow this company to promote themselves and continue to rip off people? How many complaints and people to fall victim tho this company before there advertisements are forbidden to be displayed?

I was looking for grants to apply for and for $ 1.95 they would help me find them... 1 week later they took $57.86 out of my checking account, I had no Idea they were going to do this.
I called asking for a refund they gave me another web site to fill out a form for that. It stated I would get my refund 48-72 hr later. I waited NO REFUND Called the telephone # I have for them they offered to give me a partial refund over $ 10.00 less than what I was to actualy get... I refused it told her I want The full refund

so she refered me to another web site EVERYONE BEWARE!!! I got no help with the grant process,
& they took money that I need for bills.. GRANT 360 DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH MORD HEADACHES THAN ITS WORTH

I want my money back!!! it said 1.99 for s&h. well i never got charged the s&h only a 58.00 charge that i did not authorize. so in the end my bank account bounced. i have 256.00 in the hold because of this fraud!!! i want my money back and my USF paid for!!!
