When President Obama was pushing grants and funding for small business', I began to research on line the different opportunities and decided to go with US Grants Now. I then paid a $349 fee and waited for over one month for my 'package' to arrive. It did, consisting of a disc plus reading materials. From there I was instructed to complete my business plan where they would professionally produce it. This went back and forth for another month as 1) I already had a business plan 2) going back and forth with them pretty much brought me back to my original business plan! 3) There was language in business plan that wasn't indicative of our business so back and forth yet again! Then business plan was ready and the rest was up to me. I had to find my funding sources, fill out applications, attach my business plan and hope for the best. 1) Many of the funding sources were no longer available with disconnected phones, addresses 2) Customer service did nothing but say I was on my own now, they had helped with my business plan. I then had received 2 letters of rejection so asked for a refund within the 45 days they said if I didn't get funded would receive refund... This took 3 months to get my refund. Calling every week, constantly being told either 1) was already mailed 2) check was being processed by Accounting 3) informed that they had 45 days to refund my money so I needed to wait. Well, guess what! Once the 45 days was up and I still hadn't received my refund, the phone calls began again and excuses continued. FINALLY, after 6 months, a deduction of $150 taken off, I got my refund!! I'm just sorry I don't have a happy ending to the many websites that are offering these services.
