This is a formal complaint and warning to anyone interested in trying free grant websites. I paid 39.95 to grants for citizens.com that offered professional guidence and support from a number of people writer, coach' grant reserchers etc. I accessed the site immediatly and did not find a grant that pertains to me. And that is hard to do because I am qualified for numerous grants because of my status as a born aand raised citizen of the United States. They refered me to other sites that you also had to pay for and sites that you can access for free. When I contacted them via live chat, the lady told me to read through all of the grant participants information which I had already done the day before. They did not give me advise and did not help in anyway other than tell me to go to step 2 and go through the list. I was on day 6 of the 7 day trial and they had already debited my account. Then I had to fight for an hour and 15 minutes to get them to give me a refund. They also said that I paid for Identity protection which I did not need because I have pre paid legal. Here it is 3 days after I get my refund and now I have grantinsider.com debiting my account and I did not give them my account number. Here is my suggestion to all that read this, do not purchase or buy any grant service over the internet, I've been through 60= in the past 5 years and they are all the same. They sell you things that you can get for free if you do your own reserch. And none of them actually help you or write the grants for you or help in the grant process other than tell you where to go. Usually it is information that you can get from your local library.
