Overcharged My Account
I ordered the quicklawn product from a commercial I saw on TV in July of 2008. I was on my cell phone at the time. The grass was supposed to cost 39.95. I believe. There was no person to speak to just an automated service. After I placed my order, for what I thought would be one bag (2 if you called right now for the same low price as one). Over 30 days later, I had not received my grass seed but a charge of $67.70 appeared on my bank statement. I called the bank to refute that I was charged and had not received the grass seed. They gave me a provisional credit and said that the company could reverse the charges. It finally arrived a week after I called the bank in July. I wanted to return the grass seed because I was not sure if they would re-charge me and I had already read other reports about them. So, I held on not opening the grass seed. They did reverse the charges, today August 20, 2008. I called the bank and let them know that I had wanted to return the grass seed "un-opened" but was afraid that they would keep both my money and the grass seed so I waited to hear a final decision from the bank. This time I asked for another dispute that my account was over charged. My first complaint was that I had not received the merchandise when my account was charged. The bank tells me that they will take 10 days to make a decision. No grass seed is worth $67.70 for such small bags. I have tried unsuccessfully, to call them but I keep getting a busy signal when I press "2" for customer and when I press "1" they tell me that the office is closed or that it just rings and rings. I explained that to the bank. I am going to tell the bank to check out this website to see all of the fraudulent charges against this company.
