Subject: Snow Removal Work Order
On 12/22/09 I gave your company, Gray's Outdoor Services, a $125 deposit for Snow Removal Service for the 09/10 Season. This contract is for 2"+ snow fall. There have been two occasions since 12/22 where we have had more than 2" of snow.
The first time you didn't come out, even after I called in the late morning to remind you and hope that you hadn't forgotten me. You assured me your crew would be here shortly, but they never came. You ended up coming 2 days after the snowfall to clear the driveway and walk, which was a nice gesture, but missed the whole point of the service contract.
Again last night I got a voicemail from you assuring me that your crew would be out in the early morning hours, "after the snow started letting up, " to clear the driveway and walks. You even had the audacity to ask for the final payment for the balance of the contract. Naturally, I believed you would be out sometime in the morning to clear the snow as promised. At 11:00 I finally had to go out and shovel myself out of the driveway to get to my job. No follow up call. No service. This is not the service that was described and promised to me at the time of the work order.
I expect a complete refund of the $125.00 paid to you on 12/22/09 immediately. I have no confidence that you intend to service my drive and walks as promised, as your words have proven meaningless. This being said, I no longer want or need your future services for snow removal.
