I'm not sure if it works the same everywhere else but in Kirkland Lake we can call our orders in and have it picked up and delivered to us. But the odds of actually having someone answer their phone is extrememly rare.. i worked at this mcdonalds about 5years ago and not only to they ignore the phone ringing but when they answer a call-in order they ask you to plz hold and usually forget about you. which in this case has happened 4 times this weekend when i finnaly got through to them i was put on hold, and was left on hold for 37 minutes, which is when i had enough and hung up. now some of you may be thinking why dont you just walk there and get it. well the problem there is what if the person who wants their food is at work...for example workin alone on weekends you cant exactly up and leave to get food, thats not how it works. so call ins are very useful. Unless you want mcdonalds. It's been like this since i can remember and well it gives THIS mcdonalds a horrible name (which they seem to care to make it any better) i feel this needs to be dealt with because its something the public needs, and if the public cant get what they want/need from Mcdonalds doesnt that pretty much defeat the purpose of a fast food restaurant??
