I booked a trip with Great Times Vacations in March 2009. I lost my job a couple of weeks after booking. Icalled the company to cancel my trip.I talked to a customer rep and asked to have the $1300 charge taken off my credit card. She agreed, but told me there was a $75 cancellation fee. I told her this was ok, then asked her if I could get back my original $300plus fee I paid to take advantage of the low cost vacation packages. She told me that this can't be done, so I agreed to pay it. Then I get my credit card statement with the full amount still there. I cancelled the trip more than 30 days before going and a couple of weeks after booking. I called them again to see why I didin't get a refund .The manager(Roxanne) who is very rude and said she would hang up on me several times, told me i wasn't going to get any money back. I called the BBB in Longwood and was told there are numerous complaints about this company and they have an F rating as a business. This company is a big ripoff and no one should ever do business with them.
