Responding to a dealership sales promotion, I was toldIi had won a $500 shopping spree, and was handed two $250 cards from www.SelectYour Gifts.com bearing two numbers which would give access to the internet to enable me to access a total of $500. On entering the site it became obvious that this was a complete scam, as the choice of gifts to obtain was (a) very limited. (b) all offered items were of low value, and (c) to obtain each item I was obliged to pay a substantial "shipping and handling" charge, which in most cases seemed to be if not as much as the offered "gift" was worth, but very close to half its value. I did not avail myself of any of these "gifts" as gifts you have to pay for are not gifts at all, apart from the fact that the choice was so limited, and the values were so low that if the total of $500 "gift" value had been utilized, there would have been one or two hundred dollars of "shipping and handling" costs to pay. An out and out rip off! Shame on this dealership!
