Rip-off big time
I hate to admit it, but I also allowed a fast-talking salesman lure me into this SCAM . . . not once, but twice!! Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on ME! I first purchased this "wonderful vacation package" (NOT!) several years ago but for health reasons I was unable to travel in the allotted time. Then I agreed to pay an additional fee to extend the time rather than lose me initial investment. DUMB AND DUMBER!!! When I later tried to "redeem" my promised vacations, I was informed "vacations to Spain are no longer available and that I would have to pay additional fees to travel anywhere else except Orlando or Cancun". I then requested a refund since I was not getting what I had paid for. I was reminded, rather smugly, the Terms and Conditions clearly state that "travel options may change at any time and without prior notice . . . and that no refunds will be issued" regardless. In other words, they are committed to nothing while we, the consumer have no recourse whatsoever. Methinks, Ladies and Gentlemen, that you and I have been HAD, while the good folks (again NOT!) at gvn-sb have their cake and eat it too on our tab. Right now I plan to cut my loses and run but not before I make one last ditch effort to spike their guns. I plan to write a letter of complaint to the Office of Consumer Protection, Department of Commerce and Cosumer Affairs. If any of you would like to add your voice to my complaint, please contact me at P.O. Box 314, Shelby, NC 28150. We may be unable to get our money back but maybe we can put them out of business or prevent others from being duped.
