Waste of money
Green bags are a waste of money. I don't know how I ended up with two bad plastic bag products in one week but I did it/ Between these terrible greenbags and those cheap spacebags I'm a wastin' my cashola all over the place.
Don't bother with these, they are just regular old plastic bags. Ziploc is better, and CHEAPER.

Green Bags
Tried the bananas: just put them in the green bag on the counter. They gave out moisture which spotted them and then rotted them. Thought it was my mistake. Tried again and frequently (twice a day) turned the bag inside out to prevent any moisture; now they rotted from the inside of the banana - so the outside didn't look really bad but the banana inside was totally mushy and way overripened - in under a week. Tried avocados: they molded and rotted in about 5 days. Tried whole lemons in the fridge; they molded. Tried hearts of Romaine and they seem to be doing better. My supermarket gives out the 'tissue' like bags and they seem to do as well or better than the 'green bags'. Tried nectarines: they weren't ripe yet so I ripened them on the counter first and then put them in the green bag and refrigerated them and they seemed to work okay. So I would avoid moisture at all costs along with all citrus fruits. Mostly, I don't have any good results on products left out in the bags on the counter without refrigerating them.

ordering process / cutomer srevice
i wanted to try the $9.95 green bag deal. after a long, long time on the voice mail system, my order was complete but i ordered extra stuff...it figures, keep you
on long enough and eventually you'll screw up. there was no verification system...only a customer service
number. i called to correct order and was told.."sorry,
call tomorow...". 12 hous later, i called, only to be told..."too late the order has shipped...send it back and
we'll refund you." yeah right, like that is going to happen. so now i have a $31 and change package of
modified zip locks coming. what a ripofff !!! i wonder
if dennis miller, debbies buddy, is aware of her little
scam.

Obscured excessive shipping charges
After filling out the order online, I waited for a final screen to show up with the total and shipping charges. Instead, I got a number of additional offers which I did not want. After clicking "no" on each of them, the screen closed. Today I got an email showing that my $29.85 purchase had $20.85 in shipping charges. I called and tried to cancel, but was told that it had already shipped. Of course, I can return the package when I receive it, but they will still keep that shipping charge.
I've been in retail for 30 years, and I know a deceptive business practice when I see it. Everyone should beware of this site.

Rip off
I wish I could post a picture of the bananas in green bags compared to those not put in them. The ones in the green bag spoiled even faster. What a rip!!!
I won't even bother trying them for other fruits and vegetables. Yes I will admit, I was a sucker.
It's hard coming up with 100 words for a product that is plain and simple a farce. Don't waste your money like I did. I think we should all get together and file a class action lawsuit to stop these people. Oh well, I feel better now.
