System was installed 4/29/10 with the Green Power Box (Fuse Box) and Ultra Power Sheild (Attic). We are supposed to see an energy savings of 25%-60%.
Our power bill, from the time the system was installed, increased an additional $80-100 per month consistently. Electrician stated the system was installed correctly and functional.
11/22/10: Electrician service call. Electrician adjusted the system to have 3 lights "On" on the Green Power Box.
12/21/10: Electrician service call. Electrician stated the Green Power Box should only have "one" switch light on and he adjusted the Green Power Box. Electrician stated that the system was incorrectly wired, our entire Fuse box for the whole house could have blown/fried. Electrician corrected the wiring issue.
Our power bill continues to be high. We contacted Bay Cty Builder Services Division, becoming concerned about the wiring & safety issues. Builder Svcs opened a case for us, took photographs. Concerns were that there was no UL stickers on the box, no buildering permit pulled, wiring may not conform to building codes for Bay Cty.
After 4-month Pilot program period, we receive harassing phone calls from GEMoney, the finance company. Since the system doesn't work, and we still do not know if it is installed correctly, we have refused to pay anything on the system. Light Power Solutions has taken the stance that they sold us the system, and it is our problem to deal with the finance company for payment, and that we should pay payments on the system.
