Unfounded Collections Complaint
I got an email from them today, a whole year after I had to cancel my credit card because the credit card was number was stolen and someone was trying to use it in another country trying to buy or order products. Red flag #1. Well I called the 800 number and the first person I spoke with hung up on me Red flag #2, so I called back and spoke to a person named Valerie, she said I owed the money and of course I did not. So I ask for a manager, a man came on the telephone named Jokeen. He said they buy bad debts and try to collect on them but he would not give me any information about the company he was trying to collect for, Red flag #3. He said the order took place about 10 to 12 months ago, just about the tine my CC was used. Think about this first someone tried to use my credit card and now I am being sent a collection letter for what ever product they tried to buy. This is a bigger scam ever. The man said ok, ok we can take this off of you. They gave me a conformation # and said I would never hear from them again.
Attached is a copy of their letter. Much like all of the others I have seen on here to date. What a shame to have to go through this sort of thing.
What kind of a world do we really live in today...

Fraudulanty taken money
This company took money from my account despite cancelling the free trial and returning the product. They have so far failed to return over £100 despite being taken in June 2009

I PURCHASED A TRIAL ORDER OF THIS PRODUCT, A 30 DAY SUPPLY IN JULY 2009. BEFORE I EVEN RECEIVED THE TRIAL BOTTLE I WAS BILLED FOR THE SHIPPING FEES FOR IT AND THE FIRST MONTHS SUPPLY THAT I HAD NOT ORDERED. A TOTAL OF $95.00CDN. I NEVER DID RECEIVE THE MONTHS SUPPLY THAT I PAID FOR. I PHONED AND EMAILED AND PHONED AND EMAILED OVER AND OVER AND OVER, REQUESTING A REFUND FOR THE BOTTLE I DIN'T RECEIVE. I GOT RESPONSES LIKE, SEND BACK THE UNUSED PORTION OF THE ORDER AND I WOULD GET MY REFUND. I NEVER GOT THE BOTTLE SO HOW COULD I SEND IT BACK? WE WENT AROUND THAT TREE A DOZEN TIMES, THEY WOULDN'T BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAID I DIDN'T GET THE SHIPMENT. THEY SAID THEY HAD PROOF THAT A BOTTLE OF THEIR PRODUCT WAS DELIVERED TO ME ON A SPECIFIC DATE. THEY WERE RIGHT, IT WAS THE TRIAL BOTTLE, WHICH I DIDN'T GET UNTIL AFTER I COMPLAINED ABOUT PAYING FOR IT AND NOT GETTING IT. I HAVE A FILE OF EMAILS ON THIS COMPANY ABOUT AN INCH THICK. THEY DON'T RESPOND TO EMAILS, THEY WON'T GIVE YOU A PHONE NUMBER TO CALL. ALL THEY WILL DO IF THEY CAN IS TAKE YOUR MONEY. I STOPPED THEM WITH THE HELP OF VISA, THEY CANCELLED MY CARD AND NOTHING MORE COULD GO THROUGH. THEY TOLD ME TO SEND THE SAMPLE BOTTLE TO CHINA AND I WOULD GET MY REFUND. SO I DID THAT, NO REFUND. NOW I'M OUT THE POSTAGE TO CHINA.
I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO RIP OFF REPORTS ALONG WITH OTHERS ON THE INTERNET, PHONE BUSTERS OF THE R.C.M.P. FRAUD DEPT., B.B.B., A LOCAL POLICE DEPT. OF WHERE ONE OF THEIR PHONY OFFICES WAS SUPPOSED TO BE LOCATED. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING I CAN THINK OF. THESE PEOPLE ARE CON ARTISTS, SCAMMERS, CROOCKS AND THEY HAVE TO BE STOPPED. I DON'T LIVE IN THE STATES SO IT ISN'T SO EASY FOR ME, BUT THERE MUST BE A LAWYER OUT THERE SOMEWHERE WHO IS WILLING TO TAKE ON A CLASS ACTION SUIT, NOT ONLY FOR THE MONEY THEY HAVE SWINDLED PEOPLE OUT OF, BUT FOR CRIMINAL CHARGES AS WELL TO PUT THE OWNERS OF THIS COMPANY BEHIND BARS WHERE THEY BELONG. unauthorised taking of money & cancellation
ive tried to cancel my order, but to know avail.i tried to cancel the standing order at my bank, they said you have to cancel it thru the company.But i cannot find any website details or address to cancel it.looks like im going to have to go back the bank and explain whats gone on.Ill send back the items with recorded delivery & show the bank what im doing - might have to cancel my account in the process.Hopefully that will be an end to it, they offer you a free trial & WE JUST GET RIPPED OFF & ROBBED OF OUR HARD EARNED MONEY

I have received a sample of a product with no information whatsoever about the product as well as no information about how to cancel. I have tried through e-mail to no avail and want no payment to show up on my credit card.

Further - any subsequent shipments should be cancelled!!!

What kind of a way is this to do business and how is a person to get a hold of these scamming individuals.

MONEY TAKEN WITHOUT AUTHORIZATION
HI BACK IN JUNE 2009 I WENT ONLINE AND PLACED AN ORDER FOR A FREE TRIAL - GREEN TEA PRUITY, I CANCELLED THIS SUBSCRIPTION PRIOR TO THE 14 DAY CUT-OFF TIME, A FEW DAYS LATER I WANT TO CHECK ON-LINE WITH MY BANK AND FOUND THE THIS GREEN TEA PRUITY COMPANY HAD TAKEN £102.58 STERLING FROM MY ACCOUNT FOR JUST 100 TABLETS, I CONTACTED THIS COMPANY VIA EMAIL AND WAS TOLD TO SEND THESE TABLETS BACK (VIA CHINA) AND I WOULD RECEIVE A REFUND FOR THE AMOUNT TAKEN MINUS 20% RE-STOCKAGE, I INFORMED THEM THAT THEY COULD NOT TAKE MONEY FROM THE REFUND AS I CONTACTED THEM PRIOR TO THESE TABLETS BEING SENT TO ME.

I WAS SHOCKED TO SEE THE VERY NEXT DAY (VIA REPLY EMAIL) THAT THIS COMPANY WAS INFORMING ME THAT WITHIN 6/8 DAYS THEY WOULD BE TAKING ANOTHER AMOUNT FOR THE SECOND SUBSCRIPTION. THE SECOND AMOUNT TAKEN WITH WITHIN 7 DAYS OF THE FIRST AND THIS TIME THEY TOOK £116.40 FOR 100 TABLETS - I MUST ADMIT THAT I DID RECEIVE £48 STERLING IN REFUND FOR THE FIRST AMOUNT, WHICH I THOUGHT WAS A CHEEK.

I signed up for a trial product of a product called *Green Tea Purity* -- it is a weight loss/energy aid. I paid $5.95 for shipping and handling. This showed up on my credit card as*JRV-SUPPLEMENTS, phone number: (574)207-4398* -- A Few days later, I saw a charge on my debit card for $74.82 under the name *PERFECTHEALTHSUP* and phone #(303)325-3521 -- after some research I found that these companies are the same -- those two phone numbers lead to the same answering service. On 09/28/09 - I called and asked for a refund that day. They said they could not find my order even though I provided them with my name, address, email address, phone #, and credit card number that THEY billed. They said to wait for an email with an order number. That day, I did receive an email with the following:

Just for my own record, I searched my email from the last few weeks and was unable to find this email in its original form .. because they never sent it when I first placed the order.

On 09/28/09 (still the same day) - I then called and gave them an order number and they were able to find my account. I asked what the charge was about and they said that they charged my credit card because I signed up for a TRIAL period and I had not called in the allotted time window to cancel. They said the trial period is 15 days and after 15 days they start charging for the full product line. I explained to them that I placed the order on the 09/22/09 and they charged my card on 09/27/09 -- only 5 days later.

I also explained that I had not even received the product. They said that the reason I have not received it is because they ship from CHINA and it can take two weeks.I also asked them how it is possible to try a product and evaluate it within 15 days if it takes about 14 days to even get delivered from China?

They did not have an answer, just the standard scripted *I apologize.. but...*


After insisting and arguing with them and their manager, they said they would be able to issue a full refund in 5-7 business days. I called on October 6th to follow up -- they said that the refund was being processed and has been *Escalated* to the refund department. When I ask to be transfered to the refund department, they tell me that they are unable to do that. They asked me to wait 24-48 hours for an email updating me on the status of my refund. It does sound as if they are taking notes on the account -- since they are able to tell me when the last time I called and what my concern was. After 48 hours, I called again and said that I have not received the email or my refund. They said to wait another day to get the email. I waited another day and still have not received an email or refund.

Today is October 09, 2009 and I still have not received the product.

It sounds as if the company operates under several different business names. A lot of people who play games on Facebook are able to get *extra* points by signing up for trial versions of things and get scammed into this. Getting your money back is nearly impossible.

Unsolicited emails
This company started sending emails about orders I have not placed. They claim they shipped to an old address I had 5 years ago. When I challenged the order they said the credit card info (which did not appear in the "thank you for your order" email) matched my address. They said they could take my information and give it to a government website for tracking scams. After reading the other complaints here, I believe this is a SCAM to get my current information for identity theft. This is not a legitimate company--stay away!

I have no problem if I would have got this stuff within a time frame of one week to ten day after I order it. But I received it three weeks after order it. Not only that you people took two payments out the same day. Also all I have received is the trail pack. So I would like my full payments of 79.95 for both times it was taking out of my account and an address to send the trial pack back to you.
