A radio ad came on and offered FREE groceries up to $1000. I called and for a mere
4.90 on my credit card, they would give me my vouchers for the free groceries.
I asked the catch, they said there was none. I got a booklet in the mail that
got me to go on a website where there were COUPONS, the kind you clip in the
sunday paper, etc. AND you have to pay for them. What an unbelieveable scam.
I called, said I wanted my credit card to be credited for this amount due to thier
false advertising and ultimately the lady hung up on me.

THEN, I started getting these calls from people saying that they wanted to verify
that I got my free groceries but what they were really trying to do is sell me something,
the company evidently sold my name and phone number and was given the last 4
digits of my credit card to "verify" everything.
