false advertisement
If I wanted coupons for name brand foods, I would cut them myself. They claim on the radio; $1, 000 in free grocery certificates! That is not what you get. After paying them, $7.95 for "shipping", they send you a book, with a n0. that entitles you to search their minimal coupon options, and then, pay a processing fee, and another shipping fee. What a __ __ scam!

false advertising
I received a call at work from a guy "selling" this coupon package. He stated I would receive $1, 000 in coupons to Giant Eagle. Asked me all kinds of questions and tried to high pressure sale more items. Told him no. My account was charged and just today (almost a week later) got the "package" he said to expect. It contained no coupons and you have to pre-buy them. I want my money back in my account.

MISLEADING ADVERTISING
I was led to believe that I would have $1000 to spend on grocery at the store of my choice for about $5. It was to be a part of a study on spending habits. The young man then tried to send $25 walmart gift cards and then proceeded to "speed read" the details of this promotion. I was able to hear that cards were free for a few days then I would pay $19.95 per month for each card. I said no. He tried to re-explain how great a deal it was. I said no. I said no. I said no. He got agitated that I refused this supposed great deal. I fear what will come in the mail now.
By the time I received the coupon book, I learned that I would then have to PURCHASE THE COUPONS and wait for them to be sent. I ignored the warnings while on the phone, but I am closing the bank account that was linked to it.

Scam
After repeatedly hearing a radio commercial boasting of receiving a $1, 000 food voucher for $4.90, I finally gave in and called. After answering a very few questions, I was assured that I would receive the promised voucher in approximately 3 weeks...but I could expediate this process for an additional $5.00 charge (which I foolheartedly agreed to).
I received (after the 3 week time frame) a book containing 100 coupons with a value of $10 each that must be redeemed one at a time for an additional charge of $2.00 per coupon redemption.
I immediately called the company and spoke with a representative and I requested a refund, I was notified that no refunds would be given. No Refunds! This is the United States of America.
Everyone I know is suffering in one way or another in this economy, it is sad to think that this group of theives is being allowed to continue to steal so blatantly from those that need it most.

Scam - False Advertising
I was just scamed out of 4.95 ( i pray not more) Like the others, I was lured in my a radio ad offering $1, 000 in groceries as part of a trade study on buyin habits.

The number advertised was 1-888-418-0552

The rep on the phone did not try to sell me into another program, gas coupons or anything else. She simply stated that the $1, 000 card could be used for any food item at several of my local grocery stores, the only restriction was no alcohol or tobacco products (no problem) .

She completely painted the picture that this was $1, 000 in free money that could only be used at grocery stores.

What came in the mail was instructions to go online to grocerysavers.com and register for coupons that i would have to pay 10% for.

COMPLETE 180 from what I was told on the phone.

I was looking forward to serving meals to the cancer patients we serve with this $1, 000. while I am thankfull that it was only $5 that i lost, i am angry that others are being taken in this economy. I believe more should be done to shut them down.

here is a list of the deceitfull companies doing the "market research" for them
