rude customer service
I called GS Services because i was advised by HESC that i had an outstanding student loan. When I called i spoke to an Andrea first she was yelling at me, when i told her that she had the wrong last name and that my address is wrong. I also tried to find out why she had it since I paid all my student loans. She told me that this is me and i needed to pay over $3K. When I kept insisting she may have the wrong person she started talking over me and telling me No maam this is you . then she hung up on me. I called back and spoked to a Mr. Hahn who claimed to be a "supervisor". I explained to him that i just spoke to his rep and she hung up on me. I told him that I wanted to file a complaint against her, for her rude customer service towards me. Mr Hahn told me that, her actions are here nor there. I need to pay this bill. I explained to him again, that the address they have is not mine, that the birthdate that they verified was not mine, and that the last name they have on file has not been used over 5yrs. He told me that my loans were taken out in 2003, and I explained to him that I never attended school in 2003, and that I graduated with My associates in 2002 so there must be an error. I asked that mr Hahn provide me with proof substantiated the debt and i would like something with my signature on it proving it was me. He told me that he doesn't have any proof that he is just collecting this money. I explained to him that Under the Fair Debt Collection act, he is responsible to provide me with proper documentation. He then in turn started to insult me telling me that he knows more about that FDCPA then i would ever know. Then mr try to have me verify my information, and repeated my home phone number. I asked mr if he had caller id and he said no but the number he verified was my new number i only had about 2 days NO One had it yet. He lied to me over and over again. So i advised mr that i wanted his company's full name and he in turned continue to insult me by telling me that he told me that but it's obviously that i am not smart enough to understand him. Once i advised him that I am a Paralegal and I understand my rights he turned around and told me all the company information. I told him that I was not going to continue the conversation until I spoke to HESC, and he was very arrogant telling me that good luck with that.. they wont talk to you and laughed. Is this what the federal government has representing them. I am not stopping here i am filing a complaint with HESC and the Better Business Bureau. I recorded the conversation and will play it back to everyone that will listen.

Customer Service
I called the GS Services call center to report about a ticket that i had been paying on and was hung up on 3 times and then the Ca;; Center Reps. were extremely rude and unprofessional. I was not able to get my question out, the young man that I was dealing with kept interrupting me saying "No maam, I"m not going to do that, I'm not going to transfer you", "No maam you can't speak with anyone else". After a while I asked to speak to his supervisor and then he hung up on me. When the lady finally called me back I could then see why the call center reps. that worked with her were so rude, because she was also extremely rude. She threatened that she would report my ticket as being neglected and said that I was unwilling to pay the ticket. Please keep in mind that I have paid the ticket down from $600 to $233. Now it is in collections.
I find that the call center reps. as well as the supervisors of this company are EXTREMELY rude and combative and they need proper training on how to deal with the public. Everyone in this call center is UNPROFESSIONAL and should not be allowed to speak to customers the way that they do.
