On the 6th of March 2010 my fiancé’ and myself went to Guzzlers to enjoy the Stormers rugby match and some drinks. Upon arrival we order some drinks and a few minutes later some snacks (Side order of chips and Jalapeño Poppers) Now these dishes aren’t 5 course meals and are pretty fast to prepare but over 30mins later we still have not received our food. When we enquired about the delay we were told that they were spring cleaning which for me is very strange considering the time of day. Guzzlers were almost empty with just a few what seemed to be regulars. So we paid for or drinks and left and the manager was nowhere to be seen with an explanation or apology. If this is how Guzzlers treats its customers then I will do my best to persuade everyone I meet not to go there. I still would like an explanation from the manager or was the reason because we were the only “people of colour” in your fine establishment, because everyone else had brilliant fast service, and they just happened to be white... ill let everyone make up there own mind.
