I was given a voucher by a very friendly Nedbank at The Carlton as a reward. I called in with Nedbank voucher NEDA48811 yesterday the 13th October and spoke to Lucille. I selected the 2-for-1 dinner option as it is our anniversary this month. She asked where I stayed and I said Killarney. I said any restaurants in the Rosebank area would be nice. She sent me a list with the closest option being in Parkhurst, an unknown restaurant to me. All the others where far from where I live even as far as Bedfordview and Muldersdrift. I called in again between 4 and 5 pm to ask for other options. The assistant apologized for the misunderstanding and promised to send me another email 'immediately'. I still haven't received anything.
This 'gift' is now becoming a schlep. If Nedbank wishes to reward me, maybe they can use accessible restaurants and service providers that provide a reliable, promt, service.
