I fell for this and ordered Windows XP SP3, paid $54.74, incl. shipping, received a perfectly fine looking CD impressively printed with what appears to be authentic Microsoft labeling but totally inoperable. Both CD drives on the target computer could not even detect it's presence.
The only means of contact offered by Halfpricesoftwares is an email contact form; no phone, no FAX, no physical address, a live chat that is never on line. I just sent my 2nd email re this problem after waiting over 48 hours with no response to the 1st.
My advice re this organization?...go elsewhere. As of now this lapse in judgment cost me $55 with no hope of recovery. The only consolation is It could have been much worse.
