I ordered the model ship over the phone and was reassured that the return guarantee if not satisfied would be honored. I received the model ship; opened it several days later and found that it had been damaged in shipment.
A refund has been refused as now I am told that the guarantee only hold true if the package is opened within 72 hours. I have bargained with the owner who now says he will ship me another but I still must pay shipping plus $35.00.
I believe I should get a full refund as I no longer want to even deal with the company. What are my rights in this matter please. BTW, I made a huge error and ordered using my ATM card; otherwise I could have canceled payment with a regular mastercard.
