unpleased woman October 23, 2009
wrong food,board outside was wrong,someone needs to check store,didnt make the order right,gave food to someone else frist,
i went to hardee's this morning ordered from drive thru the sign had a # 8 as ham and cheese was asked to pull to side because i orded 6 combo's waited 20 mins the food was carried to wrong car they looked inside the bag the girl come back out got the bag from them turned around went back in store i got out she walked in the door and came back out with the same food when i asked her if it was the same food the other car had she said she made it right started to leave my son looked at the food it was hamburgers not ham and cheese i parked went back inside and they told me the menu was a burger for # 8.i looked at the sign leaving it was ham and cheese for a #8 called back talked to the manger she as good as called me a lier i told her i worked fast food and her attitude changed she then told me she would give me a coupon but i live 20 mins away

Service and food
First of all, I'm not one to complain, but in my younger days I worked at Hardee's, so I know what you do to make a customer happy, so he will want to come back to the restaurant.First of all, you don't run out of chicken, one customer came up to cancel his order he had waited so long.You get ignored, they keep their backs to you and act like they could care less if you come back or not.As for me, there are plenty of other places to eat, where they act like they are glad to see you.

handling of food
On 6/27/2009, at about 10:00 A.M., we went to Hardee's for breakfast, we ordered Texas Toast, with egg and sausage and another Texas Toast with egg and ham. We watched the person that prepares the food, she didn't use tongs to pick up egg or the meat, she used her bare hands, dropped it on the counter where she prepares the food, and pick it up with her bare hands again to put it on the toast, which is unproper, we compained and the manager told her to use tongs, then she had a terrible attitude throwing egg and meat on the toast which then the toast was tearing apart, and threw the sandwich on the warmer. We were very unhappy on the service. We would never go back with those hillibillies doesn't know what to expect. The manager should be watching over the employees and make sure they are using proper utentils. Other states, employees must wear plastic gloves while handling food.

I visited the resturant on Tuesday, May 12, 2009 during the lunch hour. The person working the drive thru window seemed to be frustrated with the busy crowd, which is understandable. However, when I was there at the window waiting to receive my drinks that were ordered, the lady was filling one cup and reached for the lids with the other hand, grabbing both at the same time. She was unable to seperate the lids with the one hand so she proceeded to use her mouth the seperate them, then placed them on the cups. When she turned to hand me the cups I informed her I didn't want those cups because I sat there and watched her use her mouth on them. She seemed even more agitated as she throw them away and fixed more drinks for us. As this was going on a lady (whom I thought was a customer), was leaning on the counter talking with another employee. She then came into the kitchen area and fixed her a drink then walked back out. This lady was dressed in what seemed to be her pajamas that looked to have been very dirty.

Because of my work schedule I was unable to address the problem with a manager at that time so I returned to the resturant that evening when I left my job and asked for a manager. When the manager came to the counter she just happened to be the lady from earlier that day whom I thought was a customer fixing her own drink. When I told her my experince she told me that the lady shouldn't have done that and she offered me a free combo the next time I came in. Her work uniform looked just as unkept as her daily attire. It looked as if it had been worn several times without being wahsed, not just faded but filthy.

I reported the incident because of the health risk of passing who know what kind of germs, and for this employee to get more training if needed. I don't know when or if I'll return to Hardee's therefore I didn't want a "free combo".

Commercial
I understand that companies use tactics to gain sales, but this commerical with the "lady" eating the hamburger... well you can't even say she's doing that- it's more like a interview for a r rated movie. I saw this during the day/evening with my 9 year old daughter and 14 year old son.. Come on Hardee's, advertise the good stuff on your burger, don't continue this sexual theme that you have been using for over a year or so.. Top CEO, would you let your daughter do this commercial?

Vulgar Commercial
The Hardee's commercial featuring Padma eating a hamburger in a manner illustrating sexual behavior is disgusting! This commercial is very inappropriate for anyone to have to view but especially children. Whoever is behind the making & broadcasting of this commercial has no respect for women and views them, as the commercial says, "A piece of meat". Until this commercial is pulled from the air, Hardee's will forfeit my business. Obviously money is more important to Hardee's than human respect & decency.

store closed 45 minutes before posted time with no resonable explanation
On march 21 st 2009. I went to the drive-thru at Hardee's in clayton at 10:15 pm. expecting someone to greet me as normal with a Hi welcome to Hardee's would you like to try one of our combo meals tonight. Instead I got not response, after about 1 minute I pulled up to the window to see a young African American female mopping the floor. I blew the horn to get her attention she looked up. I lip read the her (are you open) she lip read back (no), so I called her over to the window, she opened it I said your sign says you are opened until 11pm. She said we close at 10 pm now I said you should tell your manager to change the time on the window because right here(I pointed) it says DRIVE_THRU closes at 11pm. she said something under her breath and laughed. I said may I see your manager.She looked up and said something to someone, and she did tell someone I wanted to see her, but the person told her to lock the window and walk away. I backed up because I was trying to see what kind of manager would treat a customer that way. I saw a caucasian female wearing a green shirt rolling her eyes and laughing with the other girl still not coming to address what I needed.by this time I'm confused, because the caucasian girl walks from the front with a tea earn headed towards the back of the store saying (I DON'T CARE) looks dead at me and keeps going. I knocked on the window and she turned around with a very nasty attitude, came to the window yelling we are closed, and I'm not opening the window! I have been I fast food for 12 years and if any of my crew said anything close to what she said, or acted as unprofessional as she did they would be gone before they could have a chance to apologize because she along with everyone who runs the store represents it and she gave it a very back rep. At that point I noticed her name Jennifer. I look around and I see one other caucasian male smiling in the back, and he was talking to someone else, so from what I saw, there were 3 employees and 1 manager?? on duty and they had closed early, is what I'm thinking. So I ask Jennifer for the number to corporate, she said I don't know the number I said well let me speak to the manager, she said I am the shift manager. I said And you don't know the number she, said no, you will have to call up here on Monday. I said no you need to get it she turned and walked away so I left with my hungry children and very upset.

unfair pay practices
My daughter works at Hardee's while also attending college. She has worked off and on for Hardee's for 8 years. She never turns down a 2AM call for her to come in at 4AM - or to work over - or do what ever it takes - she has even worked split shifts - just to help out. She is a Shift Leader and today she found out that a co-worker who has only been employed approximately 3 months was was promoted to a shift leader and is making .75 cents more an hour than my daughter!!! Talk about a slap in the face. My daughter has high performance evaluations - text messages on her phone from store manager complimenting her so there is NO reason for this - she has been told that she (my daughter is under a wage freeze??? now what is that) this pay difference cannot be justified. Thanks Hardee's for causing my only child such sorrow and pain - i have listened to many tears over the un-fairness of it all - well maybe a complaint to the Illinois Department of Labor will get your attention - nice way to treat a loyal worker - oh wait - those are out of fashion these days aren't they.

1/4 double cheese
They are advertising two 1/4 lb cheese burgersfor 3.00 but the burger does not have two slices of cheese. A double cheese burger is suppose to have two slices of cheese. One burger will cost you 1.79 add sales tax and if you want two slices of cheese add .30 cents for something that is suppose to already come one the burger.
