WORST MOVE EVER!!! I can not emphasise enough how strongly you should avoid this company at all costs! We had no choice as Husband's company chose this mover due to the low quote. YOU GET WHAT YA PAY FOR! I had packed 90% of our belongings prior to the movers' arrival in preparation for our in state move from Virginia Beach to Roanoke Va. Good thing as it took the bafoons they sent over 10 hours to pack 1 kitchen, some pictures 1 closet and some books and small items in our home office. Why so slow? Unprofessional, unorganized and an entitlement mentality that cause the 3 workers to s l o w the process as much as possible. Complained about how much glass ware I had in my kitchen, Complained about the stairs. The worst was yet to come. Two days after the pack and load, we get to experience the s l o w unload of our items in our new home. No regard for the carpet, and walls. All tracked and scratched like mad! Another 9 hours wasted. We do not have that much stuff! The worst was yet to come. I had my box of checks with my purse and this was in a secured section that we told the movers not to pack or touch. Two checks were stolen and cashed in the amout of $1223.00! Wiped us out and in a new town with no resources. CRIMINALS! DO NOT USE! I feel as though I was raped, and disgusted that those criminals were in my home(s) and touched all of my things. I pity the administrative staff at Harrison's for having to clean messes up such as this. Vett your people and follow through on them. Constant audits and management checks to verify these people you have moving good, decent people are taken care of. Oh, this batch of movers we had have a great disdain for Military moves as well! horrible!
