Terrible moving company

I had Hawk Moving Services move my furniture and they broke a leg on an antique table and did not tell me about it, thinking I would not notice. When I called one of the owners, Casey, he actually laughed about it and said his company would not pay for it. He was a real jerk.

Hawk Moving Services has two locations; one on Maple Avenue in Dallas and another location on Main Street in Fort Worth. Avoid these guys at all cost if you don’t want your furniture damaged. I have read other complaints where the movers from Hawk Moving Services have stolen items.

Channel 5 actually did an investigative report on bad moving companies and there is a website that lists them; however I am not allowed to post the link but you can search it. Hawk Moving Services is listed as having an unsatisfactory rating due to the high number of complaints.

I would advise everyone to stay away from Hawk Moving Services if you don’t want your furniture broken and then one of the owners to laugh at you when you complain.

Damaged my furniture and refused to pay for it.

I had used this company a couple of times with no problems. The third time I had used them, the movers broke a leg on a table while taking the table out to the moving van . I discovered this when they unloaded the furniture. The movers apparently thought I would not notice the broken leg as they did not inform me of this. I called Hawk Moving Services and told them I would like to be reimbursed for the broken furniture. The owner, Casey, just laughed and said he was not going to do anything about it. I told him I had used them before and cannot understand why he would treat a loyal customer like myself this way. He just said "too bad, we are not going to pay for it". I could not believe his attitude - him laughing about the fact they had damaged my furniture. They have numerous addresses listed so I am not really sure where they are currently located. There is another address at 1201 Blackhawk Drive in Grand Prairie and then a different address is listed on their website that is in Keller.

I did a Google search on "Hawk Moving Services Dallas" and found that Channel 5 News in Fort Worth had done a story on moving services that have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau and Hawk Moving Services is listed as being one of them. Hopefully others needing a moving company will see this and steer clear of Hawk Moving Services.
