Haynes Furniture Store in Newport News, VA On Jefferson Ave sold me two beds and promised delivery on a specific date between 11am and 2pm. When they had not arrived by 2:45pm I called the warehouse in Williamsburg and was told that my appointment was actually 12:30 to 3:30 - I knew this was a lie so I called Corporate Customer Service and they verified the 11 to 2pm time frame but said it had been changed to 12:30 to 3:30 right after I called at 2:45pm.
At 4:30pm the delivery still had not arrived so I called the Warehouse again and was told that the delivery time was now going to be between 6pm and 7pm. I explained that i had taken off work and lost $200 in pay for the missed day. The "Customer Service" agent said that they would not refund my delivery fee because "the beds would eventually be delivered".
At this point I said I wanted to file a formal complaint with "corporate". I was informed that to do so I would need to file it with ... The Delivery department at the WAREHOUSE!!! Talk about B.S. They gave me the same number of the very people who had just screwed up my entire day.
My suggestion DO NOT SHOP HAYNES FURNITURE until they get their delivery mess cleared up.
