overcharged

We booked reservation online for 1 night stay @ Super-8 in Marysville, MI. The online cost was 156.00. When we checked out, we were charged 105.30 (the actual room rate). When checking my online banking, I saw charges for both. How can HBC charge 50.00 EXTRA for a room that costs 105.00? RIDICULOUS!! I did not see anything online that said we would be charged 50% above the actual cost of the room. This is deceptive and seemingly unlawful.

charged too much for room

Booked room on internet for $35.99 plus $4.66 tax.
Bill came through on my MC charge card for $44.99 plus 13.36 tax and fees.
Called HBC and was told they could not credit me the difference. Said that the hotel manager put the wrong rate down on our bill when we checked out.
