Informed this company of discontinuation of services mid-January. They informed me that the billing will take 3 to 4 months to stop and then a credit will be made. When I asked her what gave them the legal right to float money on my account she had no answer.

I found a charge for $14.95 on my November 2009 AT&T personal telephone bill that I had not authorized or utilized. I was able to verify that a similar charge was made to my account in October 2009.

According to my bill from AT&T, HBS Billing Services had billed my account on behalf of Streaming Flix, LLC and it was added to my personal telephone bill among the multiple pages they sent me in their bill.

In no way had I utilized their services and this is the second time I have had found charges added to my bill by the Telephone Company for invalid services not contracted or rendered. The idea of having to make a call to cancel services is insane. I would have never paid a bill for services not rendered if I had been billed directly. The fact that AT&T has added it to their bill makes me feel they are in collusion and are paid for the service of slipping charges past customers.

I called their "billing inquiry" number and they were very pleasant but could not do anything except:
Cancel the account
Put it on a no further charges status
Claimed to be willing to credit my AT&T account in two months

I do not believe any of this.
