Fear of Fraud
I got some calls from HDFC Bank Credit Card Partner Finmatrix Solutions (Delhi/ NCR) for Credit Card. Sales Executive Shelly sent some person to collect my documents on 12 Nov 2010. Even After 1 Month, there was no response regarding the same. They have sent no written confirmation about the status of issuing my credit card. I fear they have misused or even may have got some fake card and I may be left with a bill of Thousands of Rupees. Somebody please help !!!
Calling the phone numbers is also useless. I gave them 5-6 calls, today they are saying my file is rejected because Landline of my company is out of work!!! How ridiculuous... if Landline is not working then there are too many ways to find the integrity of the customer may be writing email to company address, checking the company website, physical verification blah blah blah... why just stick to the land line number !!!
I think this is just some wrong doings of people in the HDFC Bank Credit Card Deptt. and the outsourced ageny Finmatrix that they are making fool of pepople by collecting the documents of general public and MIS-USE them.

Non receipt of monthly statement
I have been using HDFC bank credit card for about five months.I have not received monthly statement or e-statement till date.I am informed only throgh sms.

mental & professional harrasement by collection executive
Dear Sir,
My name is Ashish Singhania and was a credit card holder with HDFC bank (card No. 5176 5210 0338 0617). There has been a dispute going on with the bank since 2007 for over promising, no customer service, debiting account purchase which are not made my me, putting wrong bank charges and pushing a good customer towards defaulting stage. I had logged a compaint about the same with the bank officials but there was no response to any of my grienvance. hence, I stopped making payments.

After a year when i received a collection call, i had reminded them for faults made by bank employees and lack of coordination with customer. After due discussion with abnk official, we agreed for a settlement amount which Bank official promised to collect with from me and handover settlement letter. Suprisingly, again bank officail failed to collect the payment and this happened couple of time.

During this transactions, i felt that bank officials never wanted to settle the claim but kept pushing me towards defaulter list and intended to collect big money along with interest for no fault of mine. whenever i have received a call from bank, I always cooperated with them and tried to settle the account but bank offcial never acted upon the promises they made.

Recently, I have started getting threatening calls from a lady named, Miss. Priya who quoated herself to be hadfc employee, kanjurmarg, mumbai office - tel no. 022-65149567. She has made more than 100 calls in 5 hours on 10th May 2009 to my office number and started jeopardysing my image and started harrasing me. She not only made calls to me but also to different people in the company and started disclosing my financial information to other and created an embarrassing environment for me. I was also threatend that if I do not make 100% payment without any discussion, then calls will be on forever to my company numbers. This is been a big mental harrsement and preasure like someone is threatening to pay else your image in professional & social community will be ruined.

I believe every bank is regulated by Indian goverment and has legal process to deal with any dispute with the customer. Not everytime, customers are at fault, even banks officail may make faults. if a customer is trying to highlight banks's mistake, should a customer face such agony and receive threatening calls. Should a bank employee reveal financial informaiton to people unrelated to the customer. Does bank have right to receover money from disputed case by harrassing & threatening their customers...

Kindly help me in this regard, as the lady is frantically disturbing my social image and creating mental presure rather than finding a solution to the dispute. I also request that bank should appoint a sensible perosn to understand customer grievance and find a win win solution to the dispute instead of disturbing social peace of their customers.

HDFC bank does not have proper channel for registering customer complaints. I have a gold credit card and wish to call up I end up wasting my time on IVR. There is no e-mail id provided on the bank's website or anywhere else.

i am very disappointed because i am using hdfc bank credit card in last 1year and i give u a timely payment and my limit is Rs 73000 but you decresed my limit Rs 49000 way u dicresed my limit explain it please card no is 4346781101282770

Sub : complain of one bank employee about abusive language with the customer

I am krishna vishwakarma from dahisar east. my card number is 4346781006732010. I am using this card from august-08.My overdue till today is around 23000/-.I converted this amount as EMI & my minimum due is my EMI every month i.e. around 4000Rs.This time i failed to pay my dues on my due date.Bank has blocked my card from 2 to 3 months. This was the situation of my card till date.

on 24/07/09 morning your bank employee Named As Mr Raj, Empl code:12992 from chandivali branch called at my landline number. I told him I will pay the amount on 29th july. Hearing this he started talking very rashly to me, started using abusive language related to my mother & father. After hearing this i also got angry & reverted same to him but he didn't stop & start harrasing me saying that i will come to your place, I will come to your office, you beg to someone or you sell yourself but i want my banks money back now only.

when the situation got worsed, I disconnect the cal, but he called me atleast 30 times on both my landline & my mobile number with different number.

I have recorded some conversation in my mobile, but he was aware of allthese things, he told me, "u cant do anything to me, He told me to come in the chandivli branch I will show you" but i refused to do so. He doesnt afraid to anything And shameless about his ill behaviour and abusive language.

I want to know If anyone fails to pay the said amount on due date & he is ready to pay on some other day, Bank has got the permission to abuse his customer .If yes, who has given the permission to abuse anyone’s mother & father & that person is very sure that nothing will happen to him.Noone can do anything about this matter & what he did to me is wright.

please revert back with the next action i will have to take or what action you have taken about that employee.
If i am not getting any response from you i will knock the door of consumer court, But that is very sure i will not stop with just writing a mail /letter to you.

In all his converstion he was saying, ”I m of chandivali branch bank employee. U come here I will show you who I m.” I met him in the chandivli branch on 27th july at around 2pm in the afternoon, but he was shameless about all these things & started the same way as he was doing on phone.
Please take some positive action as I have the proof of his abuse and ill behavior. I expect that you will respond to my letter positively as it has created very bad impression of a reputed bank in the eye of customer.
Please do the needful ASAP.

Saying that Will block my account

I am balamurugan, I have used my credit card in the past now I have some dues to pay.. with regard to that I have one minimum amount due pending tats it then alos I am paying the rest of my minimumum amount dues till date.. But this time I was not able to make the payment (2nd minimum due amount) on date due to my mom's ill. Shewas hospitalized, so I requested ythe cdollection agency to give me some time but they are not accepting and also they are saying that your salary account is blocked now only if you pay entire all outstanding amount it will get released. I dont know what to do now. Any one can help me please..

Harasment by Bank
Sir

I was an HDFC credit card (No- 4346771007992275) holder during 2004-05. There was a scheme to Buy whirlpool home appliances in easy 0% EMI. I bought a washing machine and the EMI amount was 641.00 only. I paid the entire installments (12 installments) without any fail. But after paying all the 12 installments, again I got another bill of around 400/-. I complained to the customer care, but that was in vain. The response was if I don't pay the amount the card will be invalid.

A letter come from HDFC after 6 months, stated that my case has been informed to RBI and my card is invalid. After 2005 there was no communication between HDFC Credit card and me. Rather HDFC issued a gold card to me in the year 2007. I am never been a defaulter till now for HDFC, even though I have done several transactions through HDFC credit card.


After a gap of almost 3 years suddenly I got a legal notice dated 12th April'08 to pay a whopping amount of 5370/- else, HDFC has threatened to take serious action against me. It has been mentioned in that letter that I should be ready for the consequences thereof.

My question is where was HDFC all these days ? Again If I am a defaulter how come they issued another Card that to a gold card to me? If I can pay 7500/- to them, I could have paid 400/- odd amount. But since that was not justified and the customer care, didn't care to talk to me and settle the case, hence I didn't pay that amount as it was not justified.

Sir, Now after 3 years, HDFC has started harassing me again. I, therefore, request you to please take necessary step, so that my family shouldn't be in any trouble, without any fault of mine.

Harrassment on phone by a tele caller
I Have a HDFC Bank Credit Card. I have use this card 3-4 months before. I have purchase diesel for my official use. Last two months i m not able to pay the dues of the bank due to some losses in my business. In Jan.month i recd.a call from your RAJOURI GARDEN branch bank/Collection agencies regarding the payments of the above card. In reply i said pls.send the executive to collect the payment. A boy Called "RAHUL" is in contact with me. Next day i recd.a call from the same office. This time a lady speaks to me & asked me whether i can pay the amount or not & She is using abuse language. She is also making a calls in my neighbours & using abuse language against them.
For that my neighbours lodge a complaint against your office contact no. I have also lodge a complaint against the nos. of your rajouri office. Then i again recd.a call from RAHUL & he was using abuse language & I also use abuse language agt.them.I cant remember the lady name. then nobody comes & i deposit the minimum payment i.e RS.1100/-cash in JAnak Puri Branch agt.my credit card. This month again i recd.a call from same lady & i said that i m out of station, i will be back on saturday i.e. on 23.2.08 then u can call me on saturday & collect the payment. On saturday i recd.a call from that lady at appox.2.00 p.m. that whether i send the executive for collect the payment. In reply i said that mam yet i have not reach my home, you can send your executive on monday & collect the amount. after that she becomes angry & again using abuse language. After that i recd.a call from same office on 27.2.08 at appox.2.30 pm a called SWATI, I said mam right now i m driving pls.call me after 15-20 minutes & collect the dues. She said OK. But that old lady again calls at my residence no. and she was shouting on my mother by using abuse language.
Today again i recd.call from SWATI, she is talking in a very beautiful way with me regarding the dues. I said send ur executive & collect the dues & the collection boy already collect the dues.

I dont know how u people are mainting a good relation with the customers who are using abuse language agt.the customers. I also can use abuse language agt.that lady,but i cant.

Pls.take neccassary action against RAHUL & that girl.
Pls.do the needful or may u can loose the mkt.

INCORRECT DUES CHARGED

1. The necessary tenets of my complaint are as follows:-

(a) The present statement of yours exercises an auto pay option from my savings bank acct which to the best of my knowledge has not been exercised by me. However I dropped a cheque on 21st Dec– ICICI Bank Cheque No 350322 before the due date ie 22 Dec 2007. The same has been debited from my acct on 26th Dec 2007 (proof enclosed in the form of ICICI Bank E Statement).

(b) As per your statement this cheque has not been recd by you in the first place.


2. I have been in view of the above been charged with an auto pay returned fee of Rs 300 , a late fee of Rs 300 as also the Rs 776 amount which has already been debited from my acct. This amounts to a total of Rs 1376 which is for no fault of mine. I wished to register a complaint for which I was not given a complaint number as your system does not have the capability to generate complaint nos.

3. In view of the aforesaid I want immediate redressal of the following:-

(a) Crediting my account of Rs 1376 for which I have been charged as also the interest charges ,finance charge, service tax and cess tax accruing on the amount.

(b) Reversal of status of immediate to normal pay by date at the earliest.

(c) An unconditional apology for the incorrect debits made and undue harassment caused to a customer who has paid in full the amount due out of him failing which I will be forced to refer this matter to the banking ombudsman for due redress.
