Threatening and haressment calls by HDFC recovery agents
I used a HDFC Bank Credit Card 4-5 years back to which we have done a transaction of amount 20, 000 Rs with the bank. I would like to launch an FIR for a recovery agent Mr. Amit Kumar (or Amit Jain, as told by him).

I am getting life threatening calls from HDFC bank recovery agents using slang language and threatening for my life. He has called several times since morning at my mobile no., and my office extention no. and residence no. as well. He is also threatening to come to home and see us. Since morning, I have received at least 70 such calls and several others I didn’t pick up. I got such calls earlier also last year, wherein he said that he is SI calling from Dwarka police station. He mentioned a case no. against us, which we got checked through a lawyer and found the same as fake.

As per him, I used a credit card of HDFC bank, wherein the balance outstanding amount is 62, 393/- which is wrongly quoted and already paid and along with interest the same has become 1, 55, 000/-.since Feb’2007. I am trying to explain that the amount which he is mentioning is not correct and there is some confusion, and therefore I need to settle the matter through launching a complaint at consumer court, for which I should get a time till Monday. However, he is continuously calling and asking to settle the matter today immediately; else “he would continue calling us”. He is also trying to negotiate with us on money.

in the name of EMi and Balance transfer offer cheating
Hello Sir,

I have some problem with HDFC credit card below i have mentioned my problem please read and take necessary action.

i got a call from hdfc representative on november month 2010 regarding the hdfc titanium card, she explained about the facilities that are in the card like EMI and Balance transfer all are enabled default on your card. i conformed again before apply and applied. i got the card on december 2010, the representative told me that after getting your card with in 10 days you have make a call to the customer care and transfer the balance from some other card to hdfc titanium card. i called the customer care service and asked them about this after 3 days they said you don't have option of balance transfer in your card, i told about this they said, "no you dont have the balance transfer offer you have cash load offer, please wait for few months we will enable this like that". after few days i purchased a two mobile phones amount of Rs.28000 using hdfc credit card, and i called the customer care and asked them to convert my 28000 purchase in to EMI, "Same answer from the customer care you don't have that offer, so please wait for few more months we will enable it like that" i requested the customer care to raise the request for EMI conversion. They simply told me that sorry we don't have offer on this like that. so i collected money from my friends and payed to the HDFC full amount, after a month i planned to purchase a laptop some amount of 48000, this i called the customer care before i purchase and i conformed that i have a EMI option, the customer care executive told that yes you have the option just call the customer care after purchasing.and i purchased after i called them please convert this as a EMI This time they told "Sorry you dont have the EMI Offer" please wait for some more months and it will be enabled on your card. like that. I asked them i already inform to the customer care before purchase, but now your saying like this, they told me very simply sorry we given you a wrong information. sorry for that but you don't have the EMI option on your card like that. i requested some many times and emailed to the manger simply they are saying sorry we can't do anything.like that.please do the needful. i referred 5 of my friends and they got the card also, but they have the all options balance transfer and EMI like that i asked them how they enabled you this offers, my friends told they have received a call about a HDFC medical insurance and i have applied that then automatically all the options are enabled or me like that. i also got the call but i told them i have some other insurance some no needed like that. This is full of cheating.please do the needful. the interest of 48000 is too high for every month.please take necessary action.

Extra 200 rs Bill is received for Renewal charges.
Hello,

I have taken a Credit card from HDFC on 14th Feb. 2011.over the call I was informed by tele executuive Pankaj Kulkarni that For Wipro BPO employee, there will not be any renewal Charges, they will have the Free Life time Usage of the card. The call was received from no.: 02030472485.
But the first bill I received on 8th March 2011, in which they have debited me 200 Rs as a Renewal charge.
Please take care of the above complaint & deduct the extra charges added in the Bill.

Collection calls (mental harresement)
Today I had received a call from HDFC Credit Card (Mr Vikas and his Manager Saloni) Shanker Sheth Road Branch Pune, to make the payment of credit card which is due for only 1 month. The associate Mr Vikas and his Manager Saloni are mentally harassing me and my wife and using abusive and indecent language over the phone saying "credit card use karne keliye sharam nahi aati kya". I told them that I am unable to make the payment this month due to a medical emergency in my family.
Further, we made late payment of card last month due to which the same associate Mr. Vikas was threatening us saying he will come at my residence and create a havock.

I have been using the credit card since 2008 and have been making regular payments inspite of which I am been harrassed mentally without considering my payment history.

Please take appropriate action against the employees.

HDFC CREDIT CARD
Dear Sir / Mam,

Myself Joydev Chatterjee & pls. note my credit card no. 4346772005296065. Firstly the card was given against my salary account and the representative was pestering for the same and misled me regarding the terms & conditions of the card. And being a layman I have little access or knowledge about the hidden clauses that the bank imposes on such credit cards. I have never received any statement or bills against my card, however the telecaller ( Tel Nos.+913330202493 / +913344103450 ) used to call me and advise me to make the payment which ranges from Rs.500/- to Rs.1770/- over a period of almost 2 years & I used to make the payments accordingly. During this period I have availed Rs.17000/- (approx) against which I have made a total payment of Rs.28000/- (approx) over the above mentioned period.

Last week I received a call from (+911145647948 +911145081312) and I was informed that there is an outstanding of around Rs.56000/- against my card. The telecaller told me that I need to make the payment immediately or else they will go legal or can register a FIR against me. Pls. note that I am not in a position to make any payment at this point of time.

You are requested to look into the matter and try to resolve the issue.

false transaction

I, recieved a message (sms) on my mobile regarding transaction of 1usd in itunes at 04 jan 2011 at 0758 pm. the message was sent by vm-txnalert.This transaction was not done by me.I did not use my credit card for any transaction after 02 jan 2011.I request you to kindly look in to this and not charge this amount in my card statement.

Against custmor care response
Recently I got new credit card but after few days some illegal transactions had been occurred from my credit card threw internet on the behalf of that I have filled the changes dispute form and email to HDFC ‘[email protected]

After filling form a id is generated that is “HBL 010 747 960”

I had called several times in customer care first they told me that they got the form and send to HDFC verification department. But later their statement being changed and they told me that they don’t get any thing from my side

Later they suggest me for sending the hard copy.

Now I have submit the hard copy and fax and email to them but I don’t get any positive response yet.

non receipt of credit card

i have applied a credit card from ur co. and i have still not received d card.. its been more dan 1 month and i been facing run around by piyush one of ur representative... i been premoised by gurpreet that she is also taking care of the same.. but still im nt able to figure abt my credit card.. plz look into the matter and call me asap by the resolution...

false billing
dear sir,
i was using HDFC credit card last year and i made health insurance through that card, ofter one month i cancel that insurance. and also i made request to even cancel my credit card also, since then i did not used that card for anything, but stiil i am getting false billing and notice from bank. i requesting you that kindly cancel my credit card and stop sending notice and false bill. my credit card number as follows

Payment Already Done - still sending bills
I had a credit card from HDFC Bank (5711422095606377) as far as I can remember and I done a sattlement with the bank for the amount and I have cleared the amount on specific date. Now they are again coming up with due amount of Rs12000 + taxes.
Please Help.
