HDFC Credit Card Misuse
This is regarding my HDFC Credit card (4346-7810-0638-4481).
I lost my card on 27th Apr 2009 and it was misused for Rs. 13, 685, with in an hour i called to customer care and blocked the card.
One of HDFC executive called for the Transaction (Rs.13, 685) confirmation, i confirmed saying No, i didn't done the transaction.
On the same day i file a complaint in HAL Police Station, Bangalore and i filled the Dispute Form and did Fax ( Both Dispute Form and Police Complaint Form) on 28th Apr 2009.
I received a call from HDFC investigation department and they also confirmed saying the card was used by some other guy, they inquired in the shop where the transaction was happen.
I received this Card three weeks before the Card lost and this is the first ans last transaction happen.
HDFC customer care guys are harassing me for payment.
They took more than three days for providing the transaction details and unable to provide shop details from where the transaction happen.

Worst abusing agent collection
This is inform every one in Delhi phone.no. 011-41809130 hdfc credit card collection. How hdfc credit card payment collections work when Ur hospitalized and u pay after due date, they abused on phone and ur staff(who ever picks the phone) and even threatens u to tarnish Ur image and spread rumors in Ur neighborhood calling every one saying vague/misleading things that u own them a lot money in lacs, even when u don't own them money.Even u always pay on time.
They abused on phone many times to our neighbor & threatens them, ask them to call you. They have the worst person employed in hdfc card collection the girls are worst men too, they just don't listen to any one just threatens and keep calling and abusing every one. At last fed up with harassment and calls i made a complaint to hdfc website and FIR to the police station. Then these calls stopped.
This is the worst ever experience... in my life. I WILL NOT TAKE ANY SERVICES FROM THIS BANK -- HDFC BANK!
If u have the same experience let every one know!!

HDFC credit card fraud
I have an HDFC credit card for a few years now. Few months ago, I opted for the SmartPay facility, where my mobile and telephone bills will be automatically paid by the Credit Card. I was promised that there will not be any processing fee for this. Also, there was a promise of 5% Cash Back. HDFC started paying the bills and also a processing fee of Rs. 10 per bill payment (3 per month, in this case). Also, I never received any cash back amount till date. The bills due this month were not paid, so I had to face problems from my service provider.
When I called customer care to lodge a complaint, I had to pressurize them to give me a complaint number. I was also told that "No Action" will be taken regarding the non-payment and "false promise" of cash back and no processing fee. Now, to cancel the facility I have to personally go to the bank and drop a letter, vis-a-vis, when they wanted me to sign up, they kept sending their executives to my office for 1 week continuously.

Savings account on hold
My Credit Card No:5176 52100 3039 155 was due for settlement.
Every month I have been paying 4300 rs as minimum amount due.
This did not lower my Principle amount but the amount was adjusted.
I asked for settlement after which they took their own sweet time of four months.Meanwhile
the persistent phone calls came on coming for payment of min amount due.
Now even before receiving the settlement letter, for which I was ready, HDFC bank has put my savings bank account on hold and I cannot make any transactions.
All my ECS and other checks have bounced due to it.
No body from HDFC called or informed me that the account will be kept on hold nor did I receive any
communication regarding the same.
HDFC should understand the situation and should not act erraticly.

No approval letter
I was holding the HDFC Womens's Gold Card.Since, January I am not using the card.I wanted to have the final settlement done .I called up many times in customer care but they said that they would forward it but since last 5 months no action had been taken.I got a call from a DSA, collection department.They toldme to give Rs.1800 cash, my card cut in 4 pieces and an application stating the issue . And she promised me that I will get the letter of approval for final settlement within a week.Today, I called in the customer care dept and now again she hadt old me that she would forward the requestand also given me the number for billing division .This number is engaged and I ahve been trying since 1 hr.I am requesting the concerned person to please look in to this matter as I am ready to pay the exact amount which I have spent but why should I pay the amount which is a delay from the bank side .I am really surprised to see the services provided by such a famous and reknown bank.This would surely bring abad name to the bank!!!

Non-receipt of statement
I have started using my HDFC Credit Card in Dec 07.I received first statement well in time.However, next statement I didn't receive. I called customer care to get the due amount and paid in cash to avoid late charges.Now I've stopped using my card to avoid the hassles.If only I could receive my statements thro' courier.Please do the needful.

amount blocked from salary account by credit card department without any reason
i am using HDFC bank credit card. there credit cart recovery demartment was following up me from last three monts and they are telling we have settled your credit card amount and they taken around 2500/- from me. after few months they told me still your request for settlement is not made. again we have to made settlement request. after few days credit card department had blocked some amount from salary account and they are not respnding me.

non receipt
Dear Sir,
About a month back I called on telephone no 41514332 to apply for credit card and I was directed to call on tele no 64547908 and i spoke to Kajol and she sent one gentle man to our residence to get my signature and he took one xerox copy of my PAN card. till date nothing has come out of it and every time i ring up this number i get contradictory response one person saying that they have not received any appliction, another person saying that the said application is under process and they will get back to me shortly. in themeantime i keep getting inmy emails that there is lot ofcredit cardsfrauds going on. So I am extremely worried about the whole situation. When i visited Surya Kiran building branch where my savings bank a/c is maintained they connected me to phonebanking and I got again contradictory response. My sb a/c no is0031000060834. kindly do the needful andintimate to me at the earliest at the above mentioned email id.

Marketing Calls - they sell phone nos
I had applied for credit card a month ago and HDFC phone banking agent sent an executive called AFZAL - who claims to be their DSA.
Even if they did not give me the credit card... due to foolish reasons that I am out of town resident - despite I being a CLASSIC BANKING CUSTOMER.
Further now I receive many many calls on my OFFICE NUMBER. I have never given my office extension to anyone or any bank EXCEPT HDFC's DSA while applying for credit card.
HDFC bank never calls on office nos. they use email communication for classic customers who r in DND list.
But their DSA are pathetic. I got a call 7 times from 02267213027 (+91 22 6721 3027) from this guy Afzal who was promoting various investment schemes... today it was disgusting.. he started selling me COMPITITOR bank's product.
Surprisingly, when i callback the number i get msg saying this no. does not exist.. BEWARE OF SUCH DSA... they spoof tel nos. also now...
I would like to WARN everyone NOT TO APPROACH BANK DSA for credit cards.
