Abused by the caller!
I am using a credit card of HDFC bank. Everything was going fine, but due to some reasons my card limit exceeded this month. I got a call from the number 011-41443976 (Rajouri Garden), that lady asked me for the payment, but i didn't receive any statement for last 4 months, so asked her to mail me the statement then after i will pay the amount. But then after she shouted and said ""payment to tera BAAP bhi karega" and "Do take ke aadmi" and many more. then after a person "Rahul Sharma" came on the line and did the same and favored her. I never expected this response from at least HDFC bank.
Is there anyone who can take the action...

Getting a card frauds
I hold a savings account at HDFC bank,Porur,Chennai,India.I was trying to get a credit card from this bank.I initially gave the filled forms and documents to them 2 months ago.One week later someone from another branch came to my house without revealing which branch he belongs to took my details again as the first one was misplaced it seems..Subsequently I started receviing calls form many branchs of HDFC in Chennai telling me other brach applications are not valid and only the credit card processing branch is valid etc;
They are still sending people to my house or keep calling me to apply again for a Platinum card saying they will make it lifetime free.
When I checked with my parent HDFC beach at Porur they said that they are not sure where my application got lost and I have to reapply again.This has been going on for 3 months now.
Any cmments?

Non - receipt of Credit Card Bill
Dear Sir / Madam,
I wish to bring to your notice that I am a credit card holder of HDFC Bank. I have not received my Credit Card Bill which was due on 15/11/2007. The last date of payment as confirmed by the Customer Service Agent is 05/12/2007.
I have called up the 24 hour service helpline (Mumbai) twice once on 24/11/2007 and on 30/11/2007.
On 24/11/2007 the agent confirmed that the original statement was sent to me on 16/11/2007 and that a duplicate bill would be sent to me.
On 30/11/2007 the agent re-confirmed that the original statement was sent to me on 16/11/2007 and that the duplicate bill request was processed. I request her to send the statement via email to me.
Till date I'm sorry to state that I have neither received my statement by courier nor by email.
I guess geniune customers are being penalized for negligence & delays of the Company. The Customer Service helpline set up for the customer is thoroughly useless and inefficient.
Request that an immediate action be taken else I will not be liable to pay any interest / late fees. If I donot receive my statement within the next 2 days, pl. discontue my credit card. I donot wish to follow up every time for the bill and waste my time.

Non Receipt of Credit card bill
Hi,
I haven't received my credit card bill for last two months because of that i couldn't make my bill payment in time , now bank is charging finanacial charges on me.

Credit Card Statement
Hi
I have HDFC Bank credit card for a long time. I requested to customer care to sent monthly Credit Card statement thru email as mostly I remain in traveling from 1 place to another. but I never received the statement thru email nor thru local post. They always try to take late fee on this A/c.
Now I m thinking about to take some legal step to sort out this matter.

HDFC CARD SETTELED 1 YR BACK BUT STILL AMOUNT GETTING DEDUCTED BY ECS
Hi,
Kindly of strange but wanted to post in this as everyone should be aware of fraudlent and cheating activities of HDFC CREDIT CARDS, i am a consultant and would be travelling a lot, a strange thing its been a long i have not checked my bank account. I found my card which was setteled for the amount of Rs 10k way 1 year back in 2006 and it is still not closed and ECS has been happening from my bank account close to around 30 k has been deducted from my bank account without any intimation.....
This is fraud and cheating activity by HDFC.
SO, GUYS BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU CLOSE ANY CREDIT CARDS....
I AM TRYING TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THE BANK OFFICIALS BUT NO ONE IS TAKING THE RESPONSIBILITY OR CHARGE, I DON'T KNOW WITH WHOM I SHOULD CONNECT..

CHEATING BY HDFC
Dear Sir
I had ICICI credit card balance payment to pay and i am paying regularly upto my limit without fail and I was very happy about that.
Then, one day, a lady from your bank started making a call around 15 or 16 times and i refused, but, finally, at 17th time, I agreed regarding BT, COC, Smart pay.
For all these about said three things I am wrongly intimated all the rules and regulatings and payment structures regarding theses three..
I was cheated by HDFC bank through that stupid girl.
I know that girl and her phone number. She cheated from HDFC Nungambakkam office.
I cm cheated through 2 things..
What she said is, for sll these three, I will get one bill, in this if i paid Rs.1000/- means, this will be taken as
First, for COC EMI, then Smart pay payment and remaining amount to BT.
Also, she never said that,for everymonth for COC there is an interest..
For this, I asked her, how shall i get bill, for this, what she told know, you will get single bill with all these three as for eg., I saravana stores if we buy 10 intems means, finally we will get single bill with all 10 intems. ..
One, regarding BT, What she said was, for first three months, there is no interest and from fourth month this remaining BT will be converted to EMI.
Second one is, regarding Smart pay, As per her words, here, if I pay Rs.1000/- means, first take COC emi and entire remaining amount to BT, and donot take for Smart pay payment, and after completion of BT only, this come for consideration and upto that time, what amount paid by HDFC towards smart pay payment is accumulated and then, I have to pay that amount with interest.
CONCLUSION:

As I was cheated by HDFC..
As I was wrongly informed all the details...
right now my position is., I am not that much rich to pay the amount which accumulated and finally to pay for smart pay and all...that is for cheated 2 things..
I will what amount i can monthly without fail on or before due date..this is my words..
I dont want to cheat HFC as you cheated me...
What I want is...youmust must act upon the words from that girl's words..
else.
If you refuse, and if you say that girl's words are wrong and we cannot like that means..
No problem.,
I never pay even a single paisa...OK.,
I will face what ever may be the consequences and also at the same time HDFC must face the consequences from me.
We will both face, I DOESN'T MINE.
ONE MORETHING, I APPLIED FOR SMART PAY, IMMEDIATELY, URGENTLY CANCEL THAT ONE., IT SHOULD NOT HAPPEN FOR THE DATE IMMEDIATELY AFTER I APPLIED DATE..MIND IT !

settlement of creditcard #4346771007340913
Dear Sir,
My self syed Raisul hasan Rizvi R/o F4, Shaheen bagh Abul fazal Okhla, new delhi.
I was using HDFC credit card# 4346771007340913 and due to some financial problems I was not able to make the payment on time. and november-06 I got the settlement from them. I have paid the complete EMI of Rs 4000 everymonth but according to them Rs 500 was unpaid from my end. and without giving me notice they hold my fund from HDFC bank # 3371050002860
Since I had paid Rs 500 also and I have a acknowledgement copy also.
I received the notice on 26th of july that they are holding fund on same day from HDFC bank.
The contact person no 09313483858 which is given on notice is not reacheable since i got the notice.
When i speak to HDFC customer care they told me this is not concern to me, after making lot of effort I contacted to Mr Akshaya at credit card recovery departement.
according to him my settlement of card has been cancelled, now i need again do the settlement of previous balance.
Meantime i one cheque of Rs 4083 of personel loan no 1868132 has bounce back due to this.
You kindly advice me what should i do to get the money back from them.

Account settled, not received NOC!
I was using HDFC card i settled account on 30 aug still got a call from from executive regarding bal payments. I cleared my acc after discussion with executive named Shruti (Rajori Garden) she promised me that if i pay Rs 2110 (Final payment) and letter will be delivered with in 4 days, still not received.
I got documents regarding payments made.

Excess charges of HDFC Credit Card
I, VIJAY ARTHER working at Taj Residency, Lucknow as a HR Supervisor from 01st Feb. 2007, I am holding a credit Card No. 4346771008084114 which I have opened in the last year i.e. 2006. Just to brief about my problem which I am facing currently with the HDFC Credit Card division. I did my shopping from Big Baazar in Lucknow of Rs. 1330/= (One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty Only) and I have received a bill of Rs. 1330/- with some extra charges (late fees charges) which I have made a cheque of Rs. 1330/- the actual amount which I did a shopping and the extra amount payment which they have charged me I have not paid any amount for that I wrote an application dated 28.06.2006 (Enclosed as an attachment) to the Manager – HDFC Bank (Credit Card Division) Hazratganj Branch, Lucknow for waving off my late payment charges.
Sir, I have given my correspondence address as well as my office address with my personal mobile no. and office phone no. Later on I have not received any intimation from the HDFC Bank for the payment of my late fees charges till date. During that time I have changed my correspondence address which I was unable to intimate to the HDFC Credit Card division. But I was continuously getting in touch with my previous correspondence address that I got to know that there was no letter received by them the persons who are living there currently. Sir, please let me know if the person have changed his/her correspondence address that Bank would not be responsible for to contact me to my office address and I have not received any phone calls instead of giving my personal contact no which is currently in working condition and my office contact no also.
I was surprised when I checked my account balance from the Bank it was showing Rs. 2790/= but I was unable to withdraw my balance amount from the ATM. On checking with the HDFC bank I got to know that due to unpaid payment of credit card. And when I have contacted Credit Card division I got to know that I need to pay of Rs. 4986.00 (Four Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Six rupees only) which I am not in condition to pay this much of amount. I have accepted that I have to check back with the HDFC but they can also contact me to my alternate office address and call me on my mobile no. but I have received any call or any intimation to my office address. And after 1 year when the charges is Rs. 4986.00 then they have ceased my bank account.
It really troubling me a lot and I am really very disappointed. I hope HDFC will take an appropriate action as I am not ready to pay any interest. I Hope HDFC will understand my Situation...
