switching home loan
I have applied to HDFC Bank Ltd. to switch my loan to State Bank of India, and SBI has issued Form-D to sign existing bank (HDFC) for the purpose of after sanctioning loan amount the existing bank may surrender property documents and they have no objection to switch the loan to another bank, but HDFC denied to sign Form-D. They said we don't sign/bound any authority, but after sanction we may surrender the documents to bank.
But, SBI don't sanction the loan without sign on Form-D by HDFC.

This is Tarun Dutta from city of Kolkata, Recently i have selected for IILM gurgaon College for MBA education.i need bank loan of 6, 90, 000 Rs.So i have asked for Bank Loan from your Bank HDFC, Kolkata.I have talked to your executive of your Bank Mr. Tuhin Chakrabarty ( [email protected]) regarding bank loan but he refused to give bank loan to me.He told me that they never give Bank loan to that person whose earning member's profession is either Police or CBI or advocate as per the local(kolkata) policy.As my father is a police man(West Bengal Police) so they will not give bank loan to me.so does your bank like to humiliate the professions of police or CBI or Advocate?Please look in to the matter.please mail me in my mail id [email protected] you

Account debited but cash not received
I had inserted my debit card in the ATM Machine of SBI Bank located in Raxual ( Bihar ) but the cash did not come out and my saving account was debited by the amount i.e. Rs. 5000.00. I have my account with HDFC Bank Noida Branch. When I contacted the SBI Bank for this they said that you have to complain with the HDFC Bank and not with us. Please contact me on [email protected] |

With reference to the above mentioned credit card No this is to inform you that I Ms. Pampi Bhattacharjee, am using the credit card of HDFC bank since July 2008. Due to some financial crisis this month my payment was not in time. Since the beginning of the month I am telling that I will pay before month end. Today morning at 11.55 a.m I received a call from 8 No. N.S.Road, Gillander House, Phone no. 033 22540467 . The lady who called me she does not have minimum sense of language who did not disclose her name and introducing herself as senior executive. She called at my home and told my mother that I’m doing “ayashi & furti” with so many people by using my credit card and many slang languages. And I have kept so many body guard for not paying the money. Continuously she was calling in my mobile and residence number and giving threat.

and in my hdfc Bank account i have kept the amount of 25 k For my daughter's surgery she is nine months old and they have debited the amount of 25k without my knowledge please do need

Dear Sir,
I am holding a credit card of your bank Card No is 4346781100943174 and same is in blocked state right now.I have an outstanding of 55000/- as if now on the same card.
I have been trying to contact your credit card cell and i have also called up on the call centre number couple of times requesting to arrange a call back for me as i want to clear up all my dues without any deduction and do not want to opt for any settlement, but would like to bring it to your notice that i have not recieved a single call from HDFC till date. Also without informing or taking my approval 9700/- has been deducted from my account against the same outstanding.
Please suggest what to do now as i cant afford to pay 36% interest month on month against the same outstanding coz of your lazy executives.

Amount deducted twice from single debit card swipe
I have paid the bill of Rs.1183 purchase I made from Vishal Mega Mart Sec.14 Gurgaon with my HDFC Debit Card. The amount got deducted twice from my account. I sumitted the complaint regarding the same to the phone banking; complaint number: DEL151686 but to no avail. They say that the transaction was never credited to my account. The reference number and date of transaction are as follows:

even if now they say that the amount is not credited then I believe they need an eye check. When I asked the customer rep. to help me to get my money back she told me all she can do is file a complaint and gave me excuses and asked me to go to the Branch and fill a form or something. Its so disappointing that I have stopped using HDFC Debit card and planning to move my account to some other bank which can be more helpful.

Misbehave/Threatning
On 10.12.2009, at 13.27 hrs, I received a call from Ms Priya from HDFC from 9350631702 who asked me to make a minimum payment, immediately against a card issued to my brother and add on card my son, . I also came to know that my son has utilized the card, so my brother has refused to pay. I was also hold that the minimum amount paid by my son is being adjusted towards the late payment and interest and over limit charges. <br />
Now, my concern is why an add on card is issued to a student, who is having no income without his father’s consent? Why thousand of rupees have been given to a student without any justification? He has misutilised the card and now is unable to repay. This card has ruined his life and he is not doing well in his studies and is under tremendous pressure and tension. My brother is also very serious and is suffering from Brain Tumor. <br />
So, I offered for a reasonable settlement and in response I was stunned to hear from Ms Priya, who said, “ Jab okaat nahin the to credit card quon liya tha.” I have got a recording clip also which I would be mailing to media, if required. <br />
<br />
Will the Bank educate its, employees to behave with its customers? Otherwise the bank’s image may be tarnished by its employees.<br />
<br />
However, I still offer for a reasonable compromise/settlement.

Credit Card
HDFC Bank Credit Cards are worst offenders and would request the reader to stay away from them.
I've been employed abroad for the past 1 year and I was told that they would issue me a settlement letter to clsoe the outstanding.
Right from the beginning, I've been behind them to put this in writing which they avoided. Their interest it seems is only to keep us debted for life and keep extracting the minimum payments. I insisted on paying the entire amount outstanding in 1 lot.
One day I find they freeze my HDFC savings account (proof attached) and take away all the money there without any confirmation or warning. By the way I was using this account to only pay the car loan which hasd another 8 months for closure. My major money is parked with SBI.
I need not mention the abusive language their people used during conversation with my wife.
After numerous phone calls and follow-ups they decided to finally give be the settlement letter. I told them I would pay a part, they need to unfreeze the bank account, following which I would clear the balance credit card outstanding.
They agreed, but this has left me with a bitter experience. I plan to foreclose the FD of 3 lakhs, I have with this bank, just in case they attach it as a lein under some other flimsy ground.
Please beware of HDFC bank - they are unscrupulous, in these matters. Our nationalised banks are the best bet, our money is atleast safe there.
I have nothing more to do with HDFC bank now.
