After spending an absolute fortune in my local woking store and online this xmas and having recently had a baby, with a kitted out toys r us bedroom, i am appalled by the so called CUSTOMER SERVICE.!
I bought a from birth wrap around for my baby aged 16 weeks, wrapped her in it, thought it was a bit snug but thought it would do for a few months.Discarded the packaging(like you do.) But kept the reciept, took my baby out on the school run one early cold morning, and she just broke out of the wrap around.
Thought i would return with the 1 week old receipt.
I was refused a return point blank as no original packaging, arguged if this is their policy they need to put a notice up so people do not throw away the packaging, was meet by a rolling of eyes and a couldnt care less attitude, after speaking to a manager with the same response, even though the wrap was in perfect condition, i gave up!
I will never shop in toys r us again and have cancelled my online subscription.
What happened to good old fashioned customer service! the wrap was £17.99, if i hadnt wrapped all my kids xmas presents they would be going back too.
Thanks toys r us in woking, but no thanks!
