When I was going through my divorce as the subscriber I was denied access to billing and other information to my health care plan because my ex-husband changed the address to my account w/o my consent. My plan covered me, my daughter, and my ex-. Presently he's responsible for my daughters account and I was denied access to her health care information w/o consent from my ex-husband. Presently my daughter needed to see a doctor during my parenting time and because i took her i am the guarantor even though both parties are legally responsible. I don't understand why
we are supose to follow a legal ruling and other parties can make their own
rules from bills to a single address to guarantor based on who parents at
the time of illness.
overall i have had extremely poor service from health partners customer sevice and billing dept.
and by the way i have been w/o health insurance since 9/09.
