Auto-Debit Charge Card
I bought what I thought was a trial package of dental whitener based on testimony of a fake housewife who raved about the product. I haven't even finished the trial period and HealthBuy.com has charged my credit card. The shipping documents I received with the trial are the first place I found out about the auto renewall for $100. The trial shipping and handling is charged in a foreign currency so it costs more. There is no telephone number to call the outfit. The options to get out of the auto renewall are not accessible on the website (it says it's not an option).
I wish I had read the other complaints before falling prey to this offer! And get this, the ad told me how I could get the trial package free without the S&H but when I submitted the request, the page came back with an "error" and re-set the S&H so it wasn't even free. I've called the bank because the auto charge is coming through before the 14 days is actually up. My order date was 10/2 and it's only 10/15! With no number to call and a lousy website that prohibits cancellation and a return policy as restrictive as it is the consumer is trapped. Authorities at my bank have been alerted and my state Better Business Bureau and State Department of Commerce will hear about this.

Deceptive "money back" policy
Placed order for Zetaclear only to find out a day later that I did not have a nail fungus, and thus did not need the product. Tried to cancel the order the day after I ordered, but received an automessage that "our ordering is highly automated, and it is not possible to cancel orders." Received product a few days later. Logged onto customer support site to learn how to return. Had been assured by phone agent at time I ordered that unopened products could be returned, so I wasn't particularly worried. However, on their website, I inadvertently clicked on a button for a "one-time 20% offer" which gave me a discount. They did credit $14.37 back to my card. However, they are also now claiming that because I "requested" the 20% offer, I cannot return the product, which is unopened and unused. Even if they did allow a "refund", they would deduct a $20 "restocking" fee. With shipping, even if I did receive a "refund", I'd be out $30 for not even trying the product! Since they won't let me return the product, I'm out $45.58 plus $7.95 shipping for a product I can't even use. Additionally, the reason I called the phone support person at the time of order was that my invoice charged me for shipping insurance, WHICH I HAD SPECIFICALLY DECLINED on the website. Sure, it's only $3.95, but if they do that to everybody, I'm sure the money adds up quickly. They quickly refunded the shipping insurance when I called their bluff, and that's when I asked for the assurance of a"money back" guarantee. I was assured that any unopened products could be returned for a refund. Clearly, that is not the case. Based on other feedback on this site regarding this company, I've changed my credit card before they try anything worse. . .

Credit Card Fraud
I ordered a trial tube of tooth whitening paste. The advert said "Risk Free" trial offer.

It arrived in the mail - was half the size of a thin pencil (cost about 30 cents)

14 days later I got an email headed "NO REPLY" saying my credit card was charged $99. The email was so bogus smoke was coming out my ears.(Congrats - said the breeezy letter- you just joined the LIfetime membership of the Tooth Whitening Club)

I wrote about 6 irate emails. Got the same auto-generated template letter back 2 times - then no replies to my emails.

These people think they can just take the money - Easy Money - just like that.

They have a complaints form which is a joke. It says "we take complaints and allegations of FRAUD very seriously". Email them all you want - they don't reply to your letters!

I have since discovered my bank are well aware of this operation. They get lots of complaints!

If anybody else out there has been filched by these jokers - Here is what you can do. Read this link attached very carefully. At the bottom are directions as to how you can get back your money: http://www.killphishing.com/historical-scam.htm

Return
I purchased a 2 month supply of Smoke Deter System. This consists of 2 bottles of Herbal Supplement pills and 2 bottles of Nicotine Craving Relief spray. I CANNOT take this product as It does not agree with my daily medications. I phoned the company and a represenative told me I have to do the return over the Internet. When I asked why, she told me returns are not handled over the phone. I am NOT able to do it over the Internet either as companys website won't allow me too!
ADVISE: DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH HEALTHBUY.COM!

Unauthorized credit card use
Healthbuy.com are a bunch of charlatans! I wanted to check the shipping costs between ordering Acnezine from their website acnezine.com (which is really healthbuy.com) and quicktoyou.com. For both I had to put in my credit information but once I saw the costs, I cancelled both pages.
Healthbuy.com sent me an email to say that they noticed that I did not complete my order and tried to convince me to do so. I ignored the email. On checking on my finances the next day, I realized that money was deducted from my credit card for the purchase of the product. I called them immediately and told them that I did not give them permission to sent any products to me or deduct money from my credit card.
The customer service rep argued with me and told me that I did. When I asked her about the email sent which acknowledges that I did not complete my order, she said that she doesn't know who sent it and it was a mistake. I told them that they had no right to take money out of my credit card if I did not give them permission to do so and she nonchalantly told me that if I have a problem, I should send back the product for a refund. So now I have to incur costs to have it shipped back to them and plus they deduct $10 for just opening the box!!!
Ludicrous!!! I am not an American and I don't reside there. Can someone tell me if any legal options are open to me. I did not give them permission to deduct money from my credit card after all.

Customer Service
I orderd 6 bottles of their product at $119.95. A mistake may have occurred at the ordering stage, but I received and was invoiced for 2 parcels of 6 bottles each. There is no E mail to address any complaint or review. I can only return one of the packs provided I pay the cost of the return, so I am significantly out of pocket for a mistake that I may not have made. Based upon this experience I will not order product from this company again.

unauthorized "auto" debit of account
I ordered a product from this company at an extreme discount, and 2 months later received a repeat in the mail. When I checked my credit card statement, I found that they automatically charged me for another set of the vitamins--$95! To return, I will only receive about $65 because of their restocking fees. This company is a joke. Do not support them, or make sure they DO NOT sign you up for automatic debit. Very disappointing and upsetting.
