I've been Heartland Payment System customer for last 2 and 1/2 years. After about 2 years of service in the process of billing fee charged at the end of every month I've found this company is trying to distort its process and starts taking double charge from my account without telling or explaining before. When I found it occurred, I gave them call for explanation, they say the process for last 2 years was wrong and now corrected so, under their policy it starts taking service fee in advance of the month other than charging at the end of the monthly service. Therefore they took service fee twice this month. This is happened after 2&1/2 years service in a way. This is nonsense.
Also I had a bad experience when I had an opportunity to compare the Heartland company with other payment system companies, noticed that there was an occurrence that Heartland had data breach of customers private information thru their security hole. I wanted to cancel the service at the time because they did not tell me the facts(or they were hiding the facts to make the contract) when I had contract with them. But Heartlant system was loading me for early cancellation penalty. I believe I have a right to cancel the service since Heartland did not share the fact information with me(or hide on purpose. I want to protect my business from any customer security lose due to using risky merchant payment system company.
