Jeff Marsell had a secretary at a church contact our corporate office asking for a rep in their area, which my company sent me as a lead for business. (Oh, that could be mistaken as false presences) When I contacted the lead, she stated she wasn't interested in our services, but a Jeff with Heavenly printing was. I contacted Jeff who in turn emailed me a copy of an ad THAT I NEVER ASKED FOR. This paper did say it was a verbal agreement to advertise. I in turn faxed the ad back with possible changes and wrote DO NOT RUN WITHOUT APPROVAL. They ran the ad WITHOUT WRITTEN APPROVAL. They then sent bills to the house, without my knowledge my other half paid them for a couple of months. When I found out, I sent Heavenly Printing a letter requesting them to STOP the ad, since I NEVER SIGNED AN AGREEMENT. They continued to bill and turned the unpaid balance of an unsigned contract over to a collection agency. I did fax all the documentation to their collection agency stating I DID NOT SIGN an agreement and infact the last paperwork to Heavenly stated DO NOT RUN WITHOUT APPROVAL. The collection agency stated they spoke with the owners who informed them since some payments were made I had agreed to the contract. Unfortunately, someone else in our household was paying the bills without consulting me, I did learn a big lesson here. Once you make a payment, you have agreed to an agreement, it does not have to be signed. WOW WHAT A LEARNING EXPERIENCE.
Well now my credit has a bad mark because of HEAVENLY PRINTING and their collection agency.
Jan of 2011 - I received a certified letter from Heavenly Printing stating 2 counts of slander in my comments, regarding the BBB. So, I have removed those comments. Part of their letter is as followes: ""Complaints Board" is a one sided Company that only takes Complaints without any follow up. Heavenly Printing was never contacted, and never had a chance to rebuttal. Because of these slanderous comments against Heavenly Printing, we are now being denied service and sales from Churches and Sponsors who have Googled Heavenly Printing and found your complaint."
"Heavebly Printing demands this Complaint to be removed by the end of January 2011, or they will take legal action for slander and punitive damages up to $10,000 in small claims court" Then they went on to comment "If you remove this complaint, Heavenly Printing will drop any legal action and have our Collection Agency Bonded Adjustment Company contact the credit bureau and remove the mad mark on your credit, since the account has been paid in full. This will restore your credit to its previous level, improving your credit score for future transactions" Signed by Penny Marshell – Owner
With my reposting I highly doubt I will have the collection removed from my credit. But, I will share if I get another certified letter for telling everyone the truth of what happened to me. I did remove the information regarding the BBB, (which I found out did not get posted) and the rest is FACT and it happened to me. I am just sharing this information with you, because I feel the obligation and hopefully they will change their way of committing people to VERBAL agreements instead of Signed agreements. Thats what I would like to see them change.
IF YOU ARE AN INDEPENDENT REPRESENTATIVE OF ANY DIRECT SALES COMPANY - from my personal experience would recommend NOT TO accept any verbal forms of request to advertise with Heavenly Printing, I believe they are NOT HEAVENLY at all. PERSONALLY I FEEL they were not christian in their ways of tricking me into becoming a customer with them. If they start to show up front the CONTRACT - then have at it and advertise - but ONLY IF YOU GET TO SIGN an agreement. Wishing best of luck to anyone who decided to use Heavenly Printings services.
