Horrible Pharmacy
The Pharmacy at the HEB in Pflugerville located at Pecan and 685 has absolutely no sense of urgency, or customer service.
I went to get some antibiotics that I was prescribed for a tooth infection. This wasn't something that needed to be filled. They simply needed to grab the z-pack and hand it to me. Instead they insisted that I come back in 30 minutes.
I waited 45 minutes and came back. I thought since I was in so much pain, I should just go through the drive-through in hopes to get my antibiotics as fast as possible.
You would think since there is two lanes that they would have the ability to assist two customers at once. I was sadly mistaken. While sitting in the 2nd land, I pressed the help button, and never received a response. Instead, I got to listen to the attendant chat with someone that was dropping. After about 5 minutes of no assistance the other customer finally drove off. At which point, it took an additional 7 minutes for them to give me my prescription.
What made me even more upset, is the fact that another customer drove through the other lane which was the window lane, and was helped, and left before I got my prescription...
I had to sit in my car for a total of 12 plus minutes in severe pain to get something that should have taken them a few minutes to provide me when I originally came in.
I don't know what else to say, except, that is absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. It's a shame that it's the closest pharmacy to me... daca4

Management
My boyfriend and I have BOTH been working at this store for OVER 5 years each. Every manager there knows that we have a 4 year old together and recently had another baby, therefore, putting me on maternity leave. The day I ended up going into labor, he called and told them he wasnt going to work because I was having contractions. They said okay. The next time he went to work, they tried to write him up for missing the day I gave birth. Lo and behold, I strained my calf while delivering, leaving me unable to walk very well, let alone chase after our very active 4 year old. My bf asked a manager (A) if he could work daycare hours because i was unable to drive and he could be home while the 4 yr old gets out of daycare to take care of her. Plus, since I cannot drive, he can pick her up, go to work, get off work, pick her up, then come home. She flat out said no. She did not even try to cooperate with him. She just put him back on the register and gave him his lunch 2 hours late. Later, he went upstairs to talk to manager B and manager A was in there as well. Manager A is higher than manager B and she was telling her to change the schedules for 2 brothers so they could have the same schedule. Manager B ended up changing my bf's schedule to daycare hours because she did not understand why it was okay to change the schedules for 2 brothers, but not okay for my bf. Manager B ended up getting in trouble for changing his schedule by manager A. The next week, every time manager A was in charge of breaks, his would be over an hour late. Then manager A told him the manager (C) above her needed a copy of MY limitations from the doctor. So he made a copy and gave it to mgr A along with a letter to mgr C telling her that here was a copy of my limitations as per mgr A and to let let him know if she needed anything else. Mgr A read the letter to mgr C, flipped to the dr note and without reading, told him it would be good and his schedule should be changed. The next week his schedule still was not right, but when he went to go talk to mgr C to change it since they had my dr letter, she was gone, so he wrote a note stating he would continue the schedule from last week, making him 2 hours late according to his faulty schedule. Mgr C did not get his note and asked him why he was late, he explained everything and apparently mgr A failed to even tell her what was going on or give her the letter along with my limitations. Mgr C said she did not even ask for a dr note bc she did not know he wanted to change his schedule. She said they would fix it, however, the next week, it was STILL not fixed. He ended up calling HR and telling them the situation. They told him he could go on maternity leave as well and get paid too. He said he would rather work for his money and he just wanted to work daycare hours in order to help me with the 4 year old. She said she did not see why that would be a problem, they wouldnt even need a doctors note for me, and she called the unit director of the store here. He said he would take care of everything. However, the following week, the schedule still was not within daycare hours. The unit director came to him and asked if everything was okay. He said no, and so the UD asked mgr C to fix it. She fixed it, printed it out, and took it to the breakroom where he was at threw it on the table in front of him, said "here." and walked out. This is the 1st week his schedule is actually right. It took 4 weeks to get his schedule right. Both Mgr A and Mgr C now treat him like crap and they are blaming corporate for them not getting his schedule right. He gets all his breaks and lunches late when they are in charge, and when it is really hot outside, they will put him in parking lot and leave him out there with no one else helping him. It is not like it was a surprise that we were having another baby. They knew he was going to be limited once the new baby came. The managers at Midland HEB are the worst. They treat all their "partners" like crap. One man slipped and sprained his neck while working in the deli. He lives 2 hours away from the store. He was told he had to come to Midland 3 times a week to see the HEB doctor or they wouldnt pay for his bills. How do they have the right to tell a man what doctor he can or cannot see? He does not get paid for the 6 hours a week of driving back and forth to see that doctor. Have they not seen the gas prices? They told another man that he had to come to work even though he requested a day off for jury duty or he would be written up. The man had a choice. Come to work and go to jail for missing jury duty, OR go to jury duty and lose his job. What kind of place makes a man chose between work and family, or even work and his civil duties? Someone can go home early because her dog is sick (true as crazy as it is) and they be okay with that, but my boyfriend gets wrote up because a manager LET him leave early because we were about to lose our apartment? Manager B was the only one that tried to help and she was punished for it. I ask anyone that reads this to please not try to work at HEB. The way people get treated here is not worth the pay or the stress.

HEB MANAGMENT & STAFF
02/25/10 I went into the HEB at 2660 Fountain View Dr, Houston, TX 77057. There was a red sign posted above the Hormel Party Trays that they were buy one get one. There were no yellow coupons. The cashier refused to give me the advertized buy one get one. I asked for a manager. a store manager Z not only refused to honor the promotion she brought a totally different product (hot Hormel, not a turkey & ham & cheese party tray) and tried to tell me this other brand item - non party tray items (I believe it was crackers and cheese) was the same as a Hormel party tray item. I did not appreciate her refusal to honor her store's promotion nor the dishonesty of pretending that I was speaking about a totally different product and brand. I showed her the red sign that clearly stated it was for the Hormel party tray with turkey and ham and cheddar and Colby cheese. Still refusing to honor the promotion she went to a lady named A, no badge, wearing a hoodie with hands in her pocked that Z claimed was the head manager of the store. Amanda kept saying she wasn't working now, she just came into talk. She continued to refuse to honor the store promotion. She argued with me and spoke ugly to me until she finally honored it and rung me up. She didn't give me a receipt. A man came, B, who said he was the head manager of the store. He said A is a salary employee and therefore she works when she wants and she had come in but then wasn't feeling well and decided to go home. Well Amanda had already stated eight times that she had only come in to talk and was now going home. She didn’t' say anything about being sick. It took 30 minutes and I had to speak to all these different managers to get a promotion they were running honored. The head manager B or the man who claimed he was the head manager said there were no yellow coupons the product rings up as buy one get one. I had to go through so much to buy a meat and cheese tray at a promotional price they clearly advertised right in the store and no one thought there was anything wrong with the cashier and the two managers’ refusal to honor the promotion. If you don't want to be yelled at and have managers refuse to honor their promotions when buying groceries then don't go to this HEB.I contacted the corporte office and they stand behind what occured.

On Line Coupons
I went to HEB today and too my surpise they no longer accept printed on line coupons. I asked why, an individual submitted a fraudulant coupon for a playstation and they sold it too them. Now we are suffering for someone elses mistake. Its bad enough we only have one grocery store here in Corpus Chrisit. It is due to alot of favors being done to keep this store open. They claim that they are here for their community, but only when the camera is on. Where the public can see what they are doing. I don't want a hand out, I want to save money and use coupons to buy the items my family needs. I will no longer buy at HEB and will go to Walmart and though it is much further away from my home.
HEB employees do shop at the Walmarts for groceries becuase I have seen them. We need another BIG Grocery Store in CC TX.

rude employees
I was at the self check out after work, I had never used it before . The computer kept telling me to place item in bag . I would scan it place in bag then put the bag in my cart and start a new bag . The manager came over muttered something and walked off . All I heard was "screws it up " So I continued . My last item was tissue paper for wrapping I scanned it placed it in the bag then the cart . The computer kept saying place item in bag, which I had already done . After about 30 times of place item in bag I turned around towards the help desk in the front by the register . There was 4 employees standing there starring at me I kind of put my hands up like what do I do The manager stormed over, i told her I didn't have any more items to place in the bag she then grabbed the bag with the tissue paper out of my cart and yelled at me this is the last item and threw it down on top of the carousel where the bags are, and stormed off I was absolutely speechless That women has no business working with the public !!! I will NEVER shop at that store again even though I will have to drive 20 miles to the next nearest store !!!

Awful everything
I have lived in Elgin for about 5 years now, I have been dealing with HEb Pharmacy since I moved here back in 2005, and I always have to deal with the fact that the HEB pharmacy are always losing my son's medication/ prescriptions that we turn in!!! I always try to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I can't do that anymore... I am sick and tired of them always losing things and making my son wait on a medication that he needs that day... They are never stocked and I always get the run around on the medications... I am suppose to be able to trust them with things like this and its gotten to the point where I have told everyone I know to not use the pharmacy because of the poor customer service and organization that they give to the community of Elgin...
