I have New Jersey's attorney general's office looking into their Heel-tastics promotion, and I have alerted BBB in NJ and California. In brief, once their automated ordering system takes your credit card information up-front over the phone, it won't let you hang up and keeps prompting you about other "specials." If you finally say, "Screw it!" and simply hang up without completing the order, Telebrands will complete it anyway, shipping you a box of stuff -- bonus items included -- that you never authorized. Even worse, the invoice is at prices twice what you will pay for the same merchandise on Telebrands' web site.
