There is a big rip off going on in DVD sales on the net. I mistakenly fell for this scam. I ordered a Dean Martin roast DVD set from http://www.hamptonstephens.com/

What I got was a package from China with defective copies. Most don't work and the one or two that did had the quality of being recorded from an old VHS tape!

This "company" NEVER replies to ANY email whether it be from the contact page on the website or reply to the letter I got with the tracking number (that came from China I might add) I tried contacting them 7 times and no reply. There was a phone number on my bank statement: 510-455-4672 but alot of good that will do, no one answers it.

From doing some investigating on the net, I learned this is not the only website, they seem to have many. A few I found are:

Each site is a little different but you can see similarities in each. I'd be there are alot more too.

I paid with a debit card so I have no way of doing a chargeback. I did contact my bank but I'm not expecting much from them.

I just don't understand how this person(s) can get away with this! Is there no way of catching this moron?
