AAA recommended the VIP plan to me, due to a car accident I had. This plan sent me to the Hertz
location located in Henderson. Nevada. I rented a car through my insurance (RR H24860301) on June 2, 2009. The rental agent, Jennifer, inspected the car outside with me and then preceeded to ask me if I would be interested in signing up for additional car insurance at the price of $88.00 . I believed that it would cover the car during the time I was to use the rental. I was also told by the AAA insurance claim representitive that I would have the car for a week, but it turned into 30 days. To my surprise, I find out that the bill is nearly $600.00. This would never of happened if it would have been explained fully to me. I never would have agreed to pay $19.00 a day, especially when I pay less than $100.00 a month for full coverage on my vehicle. These charges are excessive, and I can not afford it . I live on disability with two children. Please take this disturbing bill into consideration. Thank you.
