I bought a Hisense washing machine in Octber 2007 - hifi corporation delivered it home. In March 2008 this machine did not work properly. I phoned hifi corp only to be told that they cannot help me as i could not produce proof that i purhcased the goods ther. The Indian lady was extremely rude and unhelpful. I then went inpersonally and was told to go to my bank and get a statement and only then will they help me. They have a copy of the delivery that was made but this is not good enough. I was not able to use my machine since as it flooded the house each time. On saturday 1st Sept 2008 i found my slip whilst spring cleaning and took it to hifi springfield park. Two guys assisted me with lodging my complaint and promised that the repair agent will call me not later than Tuesday. To my horror when no one called i followed up and the complaint was not lodged. A lady by the name of Claudel was going to help me. She was very apologetic but her service not better than what i had previously received. She promised me on two occasions to call me back and let me know what is going on but never did. I asked for the Branch Manager who was constantly busy.
The Branch Manager is never available.
I want a new machine as i believe this is a factory fault and should be replaced.
