On January 24, 2009, I placed an order with Hifsoundconnection (Audio Enhancers KPL12D Unloaded Ported Sub Box Dual Kicker L7, L5, Cost=$90.00) for a total cost of $133.47 plus shipping. After waiting several days for the merchandise to arrive, I finally received the merchandise (enclosure) on 1-29-09 @ 11:07 am per ups website. Initially my wife received the merchandise from the carrier and later that afternoon following work I opened the shipper and notice that the incorrect enclosure was sent. The enclosure that I received was the Custom Dual 12" L5 L7 Ported Sub Box (Cost= $84.95), however the enclosure that I ordered was the Audio Enhancers KPL12D Unloaded Ported Sub Box Dual Kicker L7, L5. On Friday January 30, 2009 I sent an email to hifisoundconnection at:
[email protected] about receiving the incorrect enclosure. After waiting (24 to 48 hours according to hifisoundsconnection posted turn-around time) I didn't receive a response back after that time frame. A second email to
[email protected] was sent, I got a response apologizing for the mixed up in the shipping department and hifisound offered a partial refund or the correct enclosure to be sent instead. Now, a third email was sent to sales@hifisound that I would like to have the correct enclosure sent versus the partial refund b-c I purchased the enclosure due to the amount of air space in the enclosure matches to maximum cubic feet of the subwoofers going into the enclosure. Next, I did receive response back stating that they would honor my wishes and send the correct enclosure. After several days (3 days) went by I didn't receive a tracking # or any notification of shippment. Now, I've been calling them almost everyday in addition to sending emails to hifisoundconnection about the shippment of the new enclosure. While talking with customer service they keeping sending me to a person named "Tony", whom they don't explain his position in the company nor how he would be able to help me. I keep getting Tony's voice mail but he never returns my calls. So, at this point I'm SOL. All I want is the correct merchandise that I bought and paid for...or my money back on the different of the two enclosures plus any shipping cost differences. I tried to maintain the rapport w- this company in addition to the fact; I've haven't had a problem with hifisoundconnection until now! Its shocking that the first and only problem that I have with this company...look at whats happening. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. My invoice# is 6067664.
