When one books into the Hilton, one expects a certain level of integrity, and an oasis in a foreign country.
In Alexandria, Egypt one is being charged 450 USD per month for a 'high speed' internet connection. Steep.
But especially infuriating when one finds that it's NOT a high speed connection at all, and even the provider admits that the line to the hotel is far too slow but, apparently, the hotel management refuse t upgrade to the right speed, even though they are making a fortune from the service.
This is cynical at best and criminal fraud at worst.
